Lifestyle changes in families OUR RESULTS A high percentage of families have changed some of their daily habits and have incorporated saving elements in their houses after participation in the Green Homes Program, with the aim of saving energy, water and waste. We can say that the project has been useful to convey to families the importance of our daily behavior has on the environment and responsibility as citizens, we have to minimize our impact on the planet.
CONCLUSIONES Enormously enriching experience for Columbares and families. Many organizations have participated in the project, laying the groundwork for future collaboration. Developed innovative actions have served as a pilot public awareness.
CONCLUSIONES The results show that it is possible, through public awareness, to induce lifestyle changes that result in more efficient use of resources. The experience has served to highlight the more difficult areas to produce changes in society, which are responsible consumption and sustainable mobility. In this sense, we try to focus future projects to these areas.
RECOMENDACIONES Provide extra staffing for implementation of the program and the final data analysis. Reduce the complexity of the initial and final questionnaires. Make families sign an undertaking to participate in the program. This will reduce the cases of families that do not deliver the questionnaires.
RECOMENDACIONES Make families sign an authorization to access data on their bills. Implement follow-up of families. Focusing largely on the efforts of future action in responsible consumption and sustainable mobility.
