A top-notch learning environment Programs are housed in the college's News-Journal Center, located in the heart of historic downtown Daytona Beach, which features two live performance theaters linked through fiber-optic network to our studio control rooms, allowing for multi-track audio directly to the control rooms for recording live performances. Nearly 10,000 square feet of Music Production program facilities were designed and built by working industry professionals dedicated to providing the absolute cutting edge in digital and analog 5.1 audio production. An award-winning veteran of the music industry who has worked with some of its biggest stars, he is widely regarded as one of the most sought-after recording studio designers and sound engineers in the nation. He has built, co-owned and operated facilities in Branson, MO, Peoria, IL, and Nashville, TN, including the famed Woodland Studios, Seventeen Grand Recording and The Love Shack. Many are working part time in the field doing production work at area radio stations, house sound and stage setups for special event promoters, even performing and working as sound engineers with bands playing on Daytona s iconic Main Street.
