You may complete the first certificate in about 12 months of full-time days, or both certificates in about 18 months, full-time days. A part-time program (evenings and some weekends) also is offered. PSAV Certificates 1 & 2 LAKE WORTH CAMPUS Medium/heavy truck, bus and marine diesel technicians are in high demand. Roll up your sleeves and get expert training in this ASE/NATEF-accredited program, using the latest tools and technologies. Complete the first certificate in about 12 months of full-time days, or both certificates in about 18 months, full-time days. A parttime program (evenings and some weekends) also is offered. PBSC graduates are working Automotive Service Bay at Florida Detroit Diesel-Allison, Palm Truck Centers, Pantropic Power-Caterpillar, Palm Tran, Nextran Truck Centers and Rechtien International Trucks, among others. The PBSC Automotive instructors did a great job, and the fact that we worked on actual cars was a huge plus. Everyone in the Automotive program went the extra mile for us. I m now a general service technician at Goodyear and love what I m doing. Throughout the year and a half in the Diesel program, I gained more skill and more knowledge than any other program I ve ever been in, collectively. Now I m working in the field and plan to open my own repair shop.
