POMONA COLLEGE [YOUR GUIDE TO CAMPUS VISITS AT POMONA COLLEGE]
AN OPEN INVITATION Whether you re starting your college search or nearing the end, I encourage you to visit Pomona College in person. Visitors often remark about our stunning campus and friendly community something you need to experience to believe. While we hope this guide will assist you in planning a campus visit that fits your needs, please don t hesitate to contact our office if you need assistance. Founded in 1887, Pomona is a nationally recognized liberal arts college of about 1,560 students with a student-faculty ratio of 8 to 1 and an average class size of 15. Pomona is the founding member of The Claremont Colleges, a unique arrangement in American higher education, with five autonomous undergraduate colleges and two graduate institutions located on adjacent campuses, cooperating to broaden the resources available to all of their students. Our Viewbook will give you information about the academic and extracurricular life at Pomona, but nothing can take the place of a visit. This brochure describes how to plan for yours and provides tips on ways you can learn about Pomona while you are here. When you are ready to get started, or if you have any questions, please contact us. Sincerely, Seth Allen Vice President & Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid
