Eligibility run from 1 st January, 2015 to 30 th June, 2015, both dates inclusive ( ExtendedCampaignPeriod ). 4. For the purpose of the terms and conditions herein, the term CIMB@WorkCustomer means eligible persons who have been accepted by the Bank as a CIMB@WorkCustomer. To be eligible for consideration by the Bank as a CIMB@WorkCustomer, the customer must:- (a) have his/her monthly payroll credited into CIMB Bank Conventional Savings or CIMB Current Account; (b) have enrolled himself/herself as a CIMB@WorkCustomer and whose employer subscribes to the CIMB@Work package by means of processing all salary payments to employees via CIMB Autopay BizChannel or CIMB Autopay Diskette File Transfer. Enrollment may be made by visiting the nearest CIMB Bank branch or by calling the CIMB Bank Contact Center at 1300 800 900 and identifying themselves as a payroll customer; (c) be enrolled under the CIMB@Work scheme and attain a valid CIMB POS Enabled Debit Card. Customers may upgrade to a CIMB POS Enabled Debit Card by visiting the nearest CIMB Bank branch; and ( the (d) satisfy any other eligibility criteria determined at the discretion of the Bank prior to the acceptance of the individual as a CIMB@WorkCustomer. 5. The Extended Campaign is only available for participation by selected CIMB@WorkCustomers who during the Extended Campaign Period have applied for and complied with the conditions stated in Clause 3 above and thereby, have been accepted by the Bank as CIMB@WorkCustomer EligibleParticipant(s) ). 1. The CIMB@Work Campaign for New Payroll Account Sign-Up ( thiscampaign ) is organized by CIMB Bank Berhad ( CIMB or and shall run from 5 th May, 2014 to 31 st August, 2014, 2. Subject to the terms and conditions herein, the Eligible Participant(s) shall be entitled to interest rate of up to 3% p.a. for the first six (6) months, starting from the first (1 st ) monthly salary payment day, on the Conventional CIMB Bank Savings or CIMB Current Account opened and used as a payroll account (hereinafter referred to as the PayrollAccount ). MinimumRequirements ).: - 8. Subject to the terms and conditions herein, to be eligible for the interest rate up to 3% p.a., the Eligible Participant(s) must satisfy the minimum requirements as explained below (hereinafter referred to as the Interestrate (a) open a Conventional CIMB Bank Savings or CIMB Current Account for payroll crediting purpose or convert an existing Conventional CIMB Bank Savings or CIMB Current Account to CIMB@Work Payroll Account within the Extended Campaign Period; (b) receive monthly salary payment via Payroll Account, where the 1 st monthly salary payment received must be within the Extended Campaign Period; and (c) maintain a minimum average monthly balance of RM2,000 in the Payroll Account. 9. The Bank s prevailing board interest rate will apply when the average monthly balance falls below RM2,000 in any calendar month within the first six (6) months during the Extended Campaign Period. 10. The interest of up to 3% p.a. will be credited into the Eligible Participant s Payroll Account in the month following the first (1 st ) monthly salary payment received, for six (6) months, from the date of 1 st monthly salary payment received from the respective employer (hereinafter referred to as FulfillmentPeriod ) i.e. for the 1 st monthly salary payment received from the respective employer Entitlementtoreceiveupto10%cashback in January, 2015, interest rate of to 3% p.a. will be credited in the month of February, 2015. This would be repeated in the same manner for the next five (5) monthly salary payments. 11. After six (6) months from the date the 1 st salary payment was received by the employee, the prevailing board interest rate will apply. CashBack 12. The Eligible Participant(s) may be entitled to receive up to 10% cash back into the Payroll Account. 13. To be eligible to receive up to 10% cash back, the Eligible Participant(s) must satisfy the following MinimumRequirements ).:- requirements (hereinafter referred to as the 2
(a) open a Conventional CIMB Bank Savings or CIMB Current Account or convert an existing Conventional CIMB Bank Savings or CIMB Current Account to CIMB@Work Payroll Account within the Extended Campaign Period; (b) opt for a CIMB Debit MasterCard when opening a Conventional CIMB Bank Savings or CIMB Current Account; and (c) perform a minimum of three (3) retail transaction swipes which must total up to RM150 within ninety (90) days from the date of issuance of the CIMB Debit MasterCard 14. The up to 10% cash back is capped at RM15 per Eligible Participant. 15. The up to 10% cash back is inclusive of all other ongoing cash back promotions awarded to and enjoyed by the Eligible Participant during the Extended Campaign Period. The maximum or total cash back which can be received by an awarded to the Eligible Participant under the campaign herein and all other cash back promotions shall be limited to RM15. 16. The up to 10% cash back will be credited into the Payroll Account within 120 days from the date of the Debit Card issuance (hereinafter referred to as FulfillmentPeriod ). 17. No cash back shall be credited into the Payroll Account if the Cash Back Minimum Requirements are not met. 18. For Eligible Participant(s) who has satisfied the Interest Rate and Cash Back Minimum Requirements, the interest rate up to 3% and 10% cash back will be credited into the Eligible Participant s CIMB@Work Payroll Account. CIMB will not entertain any request from the Eligible Participant to credit the interest rate up to 3% and 10% cash back into the Eligible Participant s existing CIMB account or any third party s CIMB account. 19. General At the time when the Bank credits the Eligible Participant CIMB@Work Payroll Account with the interest rate up to 3% and 10% cash back, the Eligible Participant s CIMB@Work Payroll Account MUST NOT be delinquent, and/or invalid or cancelled, as otherwise the Eligible Participant will be disqualified from participating in the Extended Campaign and will not be entitled to receive interest rate up to 3% and 10% cash back under the Extended Campaign. 20. By participating in the Extended Campaign, the Eligible Participant(s) are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any decisions of CIMB and/or CIMB s panel of judges. 21. CIMB s decision on all matters relating to the Campaign, including the interest rate up to 3% and 10% cash back to be given away and the determination of the Eligible Participant(s), is final, binding and conclusive. 3
22. By participating in the Campaign, the Eligible Participant hereby acknowledges and irrevocably agrees that CIMB Bank shall not in any manner whatsoever be liable for any technical failures of any kind, whatsoever intervention, interruption and/or any electronic or human error arising from the Campaign or the administration and/or processing of the transaction performed via CIMB Clicks. 23. By participating in the Campaign, the Eligible Participant hereby agrees and irrevocably and unconditionally undertakes to fully absolve CIMB of all liabilities and agree to indemnify CIMB (on full indemnity basis) and hold CIMB harmless against any claim by any third party and against any loss, damage, cost or expense (including solicitors fees and cost) that CIMB may suffer or incur as a result of or in connection with the Campaign. 24. CIMB reserves the right to suspend, cancel, terminate or withdraw the Extended Campaign in whole or part, by giving the Cardholders notification. For the avoidance of doubt, suspension, cancellation, termination or withdrawal of the Extended Campaign shall not entitle any of the Eligible Participant to any claim or compensation against CIMB for any losses or damages suffered by the Eligible Participant as a direct or indirect result of the act of suspension, cancellation or termination. 25. CIMB reserves the rights upon giving notification to vary (whether by addition, deletion, modification, amendment, or otherwise howsoever) ( Amendment ) any of the terms and conditions herein. Any Amendment to the provisions herein shall be binding on the Eligible Participant and CIMB is deemed to have notified the Eligible Participant of the Amendment by: (i) its display at the Bank s premises and website regarding the Amendment where detail provisions regarding the Amendment may be provided in the notice itself or may be provided to the Eligible Participant upon request; or (ii) by a notice being sent by CIMB to the Eligible Participant last known address; or (iii) advertised in one newspaper of the Bank s choice; or (iv) via electronic mail or by any other means of notification which the Bank may select and the Amendment shall be deemed binding on the Eligible Participant as from the date of notification of the Amendment or from such other date as may be specified by the Bank in the notification. 26. These Terms and Conditions shall prevail over any provisions or representations contained in any other promotional materials advertising the Campaign. These Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with the prevailing terms and conditions of the CIMB@Work Agreement governing CIMB@Work which shall apply in addition to the Terms and Conditions herein. 27. If there is any inconsistency (ies), conflict(s), ambiguity (ies) or discrepancy (ies) between the Bahasa Malaysia and English version of these Terms and Conditions herein, the English version of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. Notwithstanding the aforementioned, where request is made by 4
the Eligible Participant and noted and acknowledged by CIMB in its records that the Bahasa Malaysia version of these Terms and Conditions shall govern the operation of the Extended Campaign, then the Bahasa Malaysia version of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. 28.
