1 PB BONUS REWARD CAMPAIGN TERMS & CONDITIONS The PB Bonus Reward Campaign [previously known as PB Double Bonus Campaign] ( Campaign ) is launched jointly by Public Bank Berhad [6463-H] ( PBB ) and Public Islamic Bank Berhad ( PIBB ). The following terms and conditions govern the Campaign offered to the Eligible Participant, as hereinafter defined, :- 1. Campaign Period 1.1 The Campaign will run from 7 September 2015 to 30 November 2015 (both dates are inclusive) or upon reaching the campaign set target, whichever is earlier ( Campaign Period ). PBB and PIBB reserve the right to change the duration and/or the commencement and/or expiry date of the Campaign Period. 2. Eligibility 1.2 The Campaign is available at all PBB and PIBB branches in Malaysia. 2.1 The following participants are eligible to participate in this Campaign: a) This Campaign is open to all new and existing PBB and PIBB customers ( Eligible Participant ). b) The Eligible Participant must be an individual aged 18 years and above as at 7 September 2015 (personal or joint accountholders including on-behalf accounts of PBB and/or PIBB) including nonresidents, permanent or contract employees of PBB, PIBB and Public Investment Bank Berhad ( PIVB ). c) Permanent or contract employees of PBB, PIBB and PIVB are NOT eligible to participate in PB Savings Bonus under Staff PLUS Savings Account and Staff Wadiah Savings Account-i as per d) Non-individuals i.e. sole-proprietorships, partnerships, corporate entities, associations, clubs, schools and societies accounts are NOT eligible to participate in the Campaign. 2.2 The Eligible Participant in the case of a joint account is the first named joint accountholder of the account in PBB or PIBB s records and in the case of an on-behalf account is the first named parent/legal guardian of the account in PBB or PIBB s records. 2 2.3 The funds used to participate in this Campaign must be from fresh funds. Fresh funds refer to funds that do not originate from any existing deposit account(s) of the Eligible Participant maintained with PBB or PIBB as follows : a) Cash from external source; b) Debit Account (provided the source of funds is fresh funds deposited into the said account); c) House Cheque from 3rd party; d) Local Cheque; and/or e) Telegraph Transfer (TT) /Interbank GIRO (IBG) /RENTAS from other banks. 2.4 Within seven (7) calendar days of the fresh funds being transferred to PBB/PIBB where the deposit is placed, the Eligible Participant must visit PBB/PIBB to inform/allow PBB/PIBB to effect the placement or earmark the deposit, where relevant. 2.5 This Campaign is not valid with other product promotions that are concurrently offered by PBB and/or PIBB. However, Eligible Participants are allowed to participate in the PB FD Bonus and PB Savings Bonus campaign concurrently. 3. Campaign Mechanics 3.1 This Campaign comprises two (2) sub-campaigns as follows: a) PB FD Bonus b) PB Savings Bonus 4. PB FD Bonus 4.1 The Eligible Products* under PB FD Bonus are as follows: No. Eligible Products 1 PLUS Fixed Deposit (PLUS FD) Conventional 2 Term Deposit-i (TD-i) Islamic * Eligible for protection by Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM) [2]

3 4.2 The promotional interest/profit rate offered under PB FD Bonus is as follows: Tenure Promotional Interest/Profit Rate (p.a.) 4 Months 3.88% 4.3 The Eligible Participant is required to make a minimum new deposit into the Eligible Product as follows: Placement RM Minimum 10,000 Maximum 10 Million 4.4 The new deposit must be made during the Campaign Period. 4.5 The Eligible Participant is allowed to make PLUS FD or TD-i placement in multiple receipts subject to a minimum amount of RM10,000 per receipt. 4.6 The maximum placement amount is on a per account basis. 4.7 Any deposit placed under this PB FD Bonus is NOT allowed to be pledged for any overdraft or cash line facility-i. 4.8 In the event the Eligible Participant withdraws his/her deposit placed under the Campaign before the completion of three (3) months tenure, he/she will not be entitled to enjoy any interest or profit (whichever applicable) whatsoever. 4.9 If the Eligible Participant withdraws the PLUS FD or TD-i prematurely after three (3) months, the interest or profit (whichever applicable) payable to the Eligible Participant will be half (50%) of the promotional interest or profit rate (whichever applicable) based on the completed months on the principal amount only The PLUS FD interest or TD-i profit will be credited into the Eligible Participant s designated current or savings account upon maturity of the PLUS FD or TD-i placement in accordance to PBB or PIBB s standard operational rules for crediting of PLUS FD interest or TD-i profit to current or savings account. 4 4.11 The promotional interest or profit rate (whichever applicable) will be subject to revision should there be any Overnight Policy Rate (OPR) change. The revision will only apply to fresh or new placement. Any placement made prior to the revision (if any), will not be affected Partial withdrawal of the PLUS FD or TD-i is not allowed Upon maturity, the PLUS FD or TD-i placement will be automatically renewed for the same tenure at PBB or PIBB s prevailing board rate All instructions for withdrawal of the PLUS FD or TD-i placement must be made giving clear and precise instructions in writing and duly signed by the relevant authorized signatory(ies) of the account with regard to the withdrawal and disposal of the deposit(s). PBB and PIBB are entitled to refuse or refrain from carrying out such instructions if the signature(s) on any such document appear to PBB or PIBB to differs from the specimen signature(s) given. All alterations in such instructions should be confirmed by the signature(s) as per the specimen signature(s). 5. PB Savings Bonus 5.1 Eligibility The Eligible Products* under PB Savings Bonus are as follows: Eligible Products Conventional Islamic ACE Account PLUS Current Account-i PLUS Savings Account^ Wadiah Savings Account-i^ PLUS Current Account Wadiah Current Account-i * Eligible for protection by PIDM. ^ Permanent and/or contract employees of PBB, PIBB and PIVB are NOT eligible to participate in this Campaign under these staff accounts Any account linked to the Eligible Participant s credit/loan/financing facilities are not eligible to participate in the PB Savings Bonus. 5 5.1.3 To participate in PB Savings Bonus, an Eligible Participant must deposit a minimum deposit amount in any one of the Eligible Products to be eligible for one (1) Gift item as set out in the table below:- Type of Gift(s) * Minimum Deposit Amount per Eligible Product Earmark Period Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V RM40,000 6 months Samsung Galaxy Note 5 RM220,000 6 months *or any other gift replacement as advised by PBB and PIBB The earmarking is to be made at the Account Holding Branch The Eligible Participant (including all other joint account holders, in the case of a Joint Account) is/ are required to sign the Letter of Early Upliftment should he/she wishes to perform pre-mature withdrawal on the deposit earmarked under the Campaign and acknowledges that PBB/ PIBB reserve the right to deduct the applicable penalty as stated in the Letter of Earmarking/ Indemnity for PB Savings Bonus under PB Bonus Reward Campaign signed by the Eligible Participant In the event the earmarked amount of the Eligible Product is cancelled, withdrawn or released in less than the stipulated earmarking period for any reason whatsoever, PBB and PIBB reserves the absolute right to deduct the following penalty from the applicable Eligible Product as follows: Type of Gift(s) * Minimum Deposit Amount per Eligible Penalty Product Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V RM40,000 RM500 Samsung Galaxy Note 5 RM220,000 RM2,600 *or any other gift replacement as advised by PBB and PIBB The Eligible Participant is allowed to take up single or multiple Gifts so long as he/she has fulfilled the eligibility criteria for the respective Gift. 6 5.2 Gifts The Eligible Participant (including all other joint account holders, in the case of a Joint Account) is/ are required to sign a Letter of Earmarking/ Indemnity in order to participate in PB Savings Bonus and be entitled to the Gift(s) Upon fulfillment of the Campaign requirements as stipulated in this Terms & Conditions, the Eligible Participant will be entitled to a Gift The Gift(s) will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis, while stock lasts Choice of colour is not available The Gift(s) are non-transferable, non-negotiable and nonexchangeable for cash, credit or kind, in part or in full. The Gift(s) under PB Savings Bonus do not include any accessories or items shown in any advertisements and/or promotional materials as they are for illustrative purposes only PBB and PIBB reserve the right at its absolute discretion to substitute any of the Gift(s), whether in whole or part, with that of similar value at any time and/or to increase or decrease the total number of Gift(s) The Eligible Participant shall be responsible to pay any tax, incidental cost and/or other charges relating to any of the Gift(s). PBB and PIBB shall not be held liable for any tax, incidental cost, charges and/or damage caused by any of the Gift(s) and/or non-fulfillment by any of its agents/suppliers/distributors. 5.3 Delivery of Gifts The Gift(s) will be delivered to the Eligible Participant s mailing address within 6 to 12 weeks from the earmarking date The fulfillment and delivery of the Gift(s) is handled by Tri-E Marketing Sdn Bhd (Co. No M) where its registered address is at Suite B13A-4, Tower B, Level 13A, North Point Offices, Midvalley City, No.1 Medan Syed Putra Utara, 59200, Kuala Lumpur and place of business at A-5-35, IOI Boulevard, Jalan Kenari 5, Bandar Puchong Jaya, Puchong, Selangor Darul Ehsan. 7 5.3.3 The contact details of the Eligible Participant as per PBB or PIBB s records will be shared with Tri-E Marketing for the purposes of delivery of the Gift(s) The Eligible Participant is to contact Tri-E Marketing Sdn Bhd at or at [email protected] on any queries pertaining to the delivery of the Gift(s). 6 Liability and Responsibility 6.1 PBB and PIBB shall NOT be liable in any way whatsoever, for any event arising from any act of God, war, riot, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm, technical or system failures of any kind, unauthorized human intervention and electronic or human error in the administration and processing of the Campaign. 6.2 PBB and PIBB shall not be liable, whether direct or consequential, for any loss and damage or whatsoever suffered by the Eligible Participant caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from their participation in the Campaign and / or the Gift(s). 6.3 PBB and PIBB disclaim any liability, obligation or duty relating to the Gift(s). PBB and PIBB make no representation or warranty to the quality, merchantability or suitability for use of the Gift(s) and shall not be responsible to replace any lost, stolen or defective Gift(s) due to defects in materials or workmanship by manufacturer under warranty or otherwise. The Eligible Participant is to deal directly with the manufacturer and/or its authorized dealers for such warranty information, claim, and/or terms and conditions specific to the installation, specification, usage or operation of the Gift(s). 6.4 Any risk of loss or damage to the Gift(s) will be passed to the Eligible Participant upon delivery of the Gift(s) to the Eligible Participant. PBB and PIBB shall not be liable for or obliged to recognise or replace any defective, lost, damaged or stolen Gift(s). [7]

8 7 Rights of PBB and/or PIBB 7.1 PBB and PIBB reserve the right at its sole discretion to change the duration and/or the expiry date of the Campaign or to cancel, terminate or suspend the Campaign. Prior notice of the same will be placed at PBB and/or PIBB s website at or by any other medium of communication as PBB and/or PIBB deems fit. For avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by PBB and/or PIBB of the Campaign shall not accord the right to the Eligible Participant to any claim or compensation against PBB or PIBB for any and all losses or damage suffered or incurred by the Eligible Participant as a direct or indirect result of the change in duration or expiry date or the act of cancellation, termination or suspension. 7.2 PBB and PIBB reserve the right and at its absolute discretion to amend, delete and/or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time with prior notice at PBB and/or PIBB s website or by any other medium of communication as PBB and/or PIBB deems fit and such amendment, deletion or addition shall become effective on such date as PBB and/or PIBB may determine. By participating in the Campaign, the Eligible Participant is deemed to have agreed to be bound by such amendments, deletions or additions. 7.3 The Eligible Participant s entitlement to the Gift(s) will be at the discretion of PBB and PIBB. PBB and PIBB s decision on all matters relating to the Campaign will be final and binding and no further correspondence or attempts to dispute such decisions will be entertained. [8]

9 8 Others 8.1 By participating in the Campaign, the Eligible Participant:- a) agrees that these terms and conditions will be applied together with the Rules and Regulations governing the opening and operations of the Eligible Product(s) with PBB and/or PIBB, a copy of which has been made available to the Eligible Participant; b) agrees and consents that information regarding his/her Eligible Product(s) can be processed, collected, used and stored by PBB and/or PIBB for the purpose of the Campaign; c) will be deemed to have read, understood and hereby expressly agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions stated herein and agrees that the decision of PBB and/or PIBB will be final, binding and conclusive and that no appeal, correspondence, queries or protests will be entertained; and d) agrees and consents that PBB and/or PIBB, as the case may be, may use his/her registered contact number for marketing purposes within PBB and/or PIBB. ************************************************************************* The Remainder of This Page Has Been Intentionally Left Blank ************************************************************************* [9]
