Anastasia Crib (M4801)- Assembly and Operation Manual Congratulations on purchasing a Million Dollar Baby Product. This crib will provide many years of service if you adhere to the following guidelines for assembly, maintenance, and operation. This crib is for residential use only. Any institutional use is strictly prohibited. Please be sure to follow the instructions for proper assembly. Use a Phillips head screwdriver for assembling the crib in addition to the Allen wrench included in the hardware box. Do not use power screwdrivers. All of our cribs are made from natural woods. Please understand that natural woods have color variations which are the result of nature and not defects in workmanship. DO NOT SUBSTITUTE PARTS. ALL MODELS HAE THE SAME QUANTITY OF PARTS AND HARDWARE. YOUR MODEL MAY LOOK DIFFERENT FROM THE ONE ILLUSTRATED DUE TO STYLISTIC ARIATIONS. C. Stationary Side D. Drop Side A. Left Headboard B. STEP 1. Attach the right headboard guide (G) to the right headboard (B) using three Phillips head screws (). B Make sure that the guide wheel is facing the drop side of the headboard (B). Do not overtighten the screws. G STEP 2. Attach the left headboard guide (H) to the left headboard (A) using three Phillips head screws (). A Make sure that the guide wheel is facing the drop side of the headboard (A). Do not overtighten the screws. H STEP 3. It is recommended that two people perform the assembly. Insert 4 barrel nuts (AA) into the holes near each ends of the two wood rails (E). AA Attach the rails to the headboards with four Allen head bolts (Z). Use the Allen wrench to partially tighten the bolts. Do not fully tighten the bolts yet. This will help the attachment of the drop side (D) later. Z

U STEP 4. U T Align the hole of each support arm on the spring frame (F) with the holes in the side rails (E), attach the arms to the rails with Allen head bolts (T) and wing nuts (U). Set the height of the spring frame (F) by aligning the holes in the opposite end of the arm with the holes in the spring frame. Start with the highest position and adjust as to lower positions as your child grows. Use four Allen head bolts (T) and wing nuts (U) to secure the arms to the frame. Make sure that the spring frame is level. T Y STEP 5. Align the holes in the stationary side (C) with the holes in the corner posts of each headboard. Attach the stationary side (C) using four Allen head bolts (Y) with the Allen wrench (BB). Do not tighten the bolts completely yet. C Y STEP 6. Turn the crib on its side. Be sure to lay it on a soft surface to prevent scratching of the finish. Align the upper knobs of the drop side (D) with the holes along the recessed tracks in each headboard. Slightly rotate the side and slide it upwards. Fit the lower pins of the stationary side (D) into the plastic guides. Continue to slide the drop side until it stops. D Now tighten all of the bolts from steps 3 and 5 with the Allen wrench. Do not overtighten the bolts.

J K STEP 7. Attach the right drawer glide (J) to the right drawer side (P) using three screws (). Attach the left drawer glide (K) to the right drawer side (M) using three screws (). P R N M S M STEP 8. With your Phillips screwdriver screw three cam lock bolts (X) into the threaded inserts in the drawer front. Insert cam locks () into the holes in the drawer sides (M) & (P) and the drawer center (N). Assemble the drawer front as shown in insert A. Lock the cam locks by turning them clockwise with a Phillips screwdriver until they are snug as shown in insert B. Slide the drawer bottoms (S) into the grooves in the sides and front. S X P Make sure that the guide wheels are to the back of the drawer. L STEP 9. Place the drawer back (L) in position on the drawer assembly.

W STEP 10. W Use the six screws (W) to attach the drawer back (L). Do not overtighten. W STEP 11. Stand the crib upright on its legs. Align the drawer glides with the headboard glides. Tip the drawer up slightly and slide it into the tracks.

STEP 12. Before placing your mattress in the crib, you can make your own mattress protector by cutting the cardboard packing insert to 27 x 51. Place it on the spring frame under the mattress to extend the life of the mattress. KEEP THIS MANUAL IN A SAFE PLACE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. Please refer to the label (sample below) on the inside face of the headboard. Record the model/ item number and serial number of your crib, the name of the store where you made the purchase, the date of purchase and the wood finish in the box to the lower right. CAUTION: ANY MATTRESS USED IN THIS CRIB MUST BE AT LEAST 27 1/4 INCHES BY 51 5/8 INCHES WITH A THICKNESS NOT EXCEEDING 6 INCHES. WARNING: l Strings can cause strangulation! Do not place items with a string around a child s neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. do not suspend strings over a crib or attach strings to toys. l DO NOT place a crib near a window where cords from blinds or drapes may strangle a child. l Keep wall decoration, especially those with strings, completely out of a child s reach. l Before each usage or assembly, inspect crib for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts or sharp edges. DO NOT use the crib if any parts are missing or broken. Ask your dealer or contact Million Dollar Baby for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. DO NOT substitute parts. l Check fasteners periodically for tightness. Do not overtighten. This may cause distortion or breakage. l When a child is able to climb out, reaches the height of 35 inches (90cm) or when the height of the side rail is less than 3/4 of the child s height, the child should be placed in a youth or regular bed. l After raising sides, make sure latches are secure. l DO NOT leave child in crib with sides lowered. Be sure sides are in raised and locked position whenever child is in crib. l If refinishing, use only a non-toxic finish specified for children s products. l When a child is able to pull to a standing position, set the mattress to the lowest position and remove bumper pads, large toys and other objects that could serve as steps for climbing out. l Never use plastic shipping bags or other plastic films as mattress covers because they can cause suffocation. l DO NOT use a water mattress with this crib. l Replace teething rail(s) if damaged or loose. l Use a crib as a crib, not as a play pen. Remember that a crib is not a substitute for a parent s supervision. l Parents should ensure a safe environment for their child by checking the crib regularly before placing the child in the product. Please make sure that every component is properly and securely in place. l When re-assembling the crib for your second child, please keep in mind that the screw holes will need to be filled in order for the screws to grip the wood, Talk to your local hardware store or lumber yard about how to do this properly. ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY: We will replace any missing parts at the time of purchase or any defective item within a one year period from the date of original purchase. Please keep your receipt so that we may process your warranty request. This warranty only covers new units with original packaging and ownership, and is not transferable. It does not cover any used, secondhand or demo models. This warranty does not cover any damaged or defective parts that result from installation and assembly, normal wear and tear, abuse, negligence, improper use or alteration to the finish, design, and hardware of the crib. The specific legal rights of this warranty may vary from state to state. Some states do not allow any exclusion or limitation of incidental damages. Some stated do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts. Registering your product is even easier than before. Clean with mild soap on a soft rag. rinse and dry thoroughly. If you ever refinish this furniture, be sure to use only a non-toxic finish specified for children s products. If you choose to refinish this furniture, the warranty will be voided.
