Richard Lake Dear Columbus School Family, Dan Lockett After a wonderful career calling Medellin and Columbus School my home and my life for nearly a quarter century, I regret that I cannot personally thank all the staff, students, and parents. You have made my life incredibly fulfilling, as some of the most enjoyable years of my life were spent with you. Little did I know how prophetic the song I wrote for Medellin in the fall of 1989 (published in the Colombiano) during tramatic times, would turn out to be for me. Please let me share the last verse with you. "How my heart does ache for the victims of hate. For the innocent lives now destroyed thanks to fate. But the song that I sing will not cease with violence. For the voice of good people can never be silenced. Medellin, Medellin, open your heart! Medellin, Medellin care! Give peace a chance and because you believe, Colombia's great future in here." Daniel Lockett, December 1989 Paul Navarra

Elena Maya Where are you going? Universidad de Antioquia. What are you going to miss the most? My friends and the Majoi salads. Maria Cristina Duque John Azpell Elyssa Bennett
Mark Dominguez "After two amazing years at The Columbus School, I will be leaving so many friends behind as I head to Seoul International School in South Korea to start a two-year teaching contract. Living in Korea is going to be completely different than life here in Latin America, but I am looking forward to experience this culture change for a few years and take advantage of the many travel opportunites Asia has to offer. I want to thank everyone here at The Columbus School who has received me with a smile, open arms, and a warm heart. I will never forget my experience here and these people I have met. I was received with the incredible kindness that Paisas are known for. Thank you all very much, and I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart." Daniel Leach Sonia Rai James Shellshear
