After completing a few years of work experience, I found that my expertise, skills, and professional knowledge were job-specific in nature, and thus somewhat limited in scope. I decided that I needed to expand my business exposure to achieve personal advancement. Throughout the program, I have had numerous opportunities to evaluate business from different angles. It helps me develop a more holistic perspective to understand the business world. Benny Ng Class of 2013 Senior Manager - Customer Engagement Li & Fung Ltd When I first considered doing an MBA, I knew that I wanted to learn both hard and soft skills that are essential for my career. Constantly studying with a group of very smart individuals at HKUST has helped me improve my critical reasoning skills. I have begun to think outside the box, and am more curious and attracted by the possibility of challenges. The program has indeed enabled me to acquire a set of skills and the mindset necessary to excel in business. JB Deal Class of 2012 Director of Operations Asia, MCS Industries Inc 6 7
