Open Rehearsal Three: Thursday, January 22, 10 AM, Royal Theatre Glorious Gershwin Brian Jackson, conductor / Ian Parker, piano Get wrapped up in the rhythms and melodies of the legendary George Gershwin! Magnetic pianist Ian Parker performs classic Gershwin tunes including the famous Rhapsody in Blue. This concert of symphonic works and brilliant show tunes showcase the best of one of the greatest composers of both Broadway and the concert hall.

Etiquette Registration information o Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. o Maximum of 500 seats. o All Open Rehearsals are at the Royal Theatre located on the corner of Blanshard Street and Broughton Street. 805 Broughton Street Victoria. o Seating will be on the main floor of the Royal Theatre only. o We request that 1 chaperone be present for every 10 students who attend. o Schools must arrive at the theatre 15 minutes prior to rehearsal start. o Pre-rehearsal talks are available in some instances (to be confirmed at time of booking). o There is no eating or drinking of any kind permitted in the theatre. o Seating at the theatre will be booked as you RSVP. o Students are welcome to experience the first 60-90 minutes of the rehearsal. Orchestras take a break sometime between 60-90 minutes, but classes may quietly leave before the break if under time constraints. Use of electronic or recording devices is strictly prohibited. Cost: Open Rehearsals are free, but a suggested donation of $2 per person is welcome.
