Designed by Endoscopists, Refined by Nurses & Techs An Intuitive Endoscopic Electrosurgical Platform
Energizing Therapeutic Endoscopy For Over 20 Years From the 1988 introduction of Argon and through a history of established and trusted brands ConMed has been known for innovation a trend that continues today with the Beamer CE600 System. Beamer Intelligent, Innovative, and Intuitive The Beamer CE200 was specifically designed for endoscopic use and offers multiple therapies from a single platform. Combining sophisticated technology with unrivalled ease of use, the Beamer CE200 assists in the delivery of outstanding clinical results whatever your level of expertise in electrosurgery. Integrating built in intelligence, innovation and an intuitive user interface, Beamer CE200 allows the quick selection of desired clinical effect, and delivers consistent repeatable clinical results. THE EXPERTS ARE TALKING The BEAMER Argon Beam Coagulator provides a consistent and reliable tissue effect. The control panel is easy to set up and to establish personalized power settings and argon flow rates. The ceramic tip probe dramatically reduces tissue sticking. Intelligence Redefined Automatic Cutting Effect Regulation (ACE) The Beamer CE200 features Automatic Cutting Effect (ACE) regulation that provides continuous monitoring of sparks around the active electrode and maintains the spark formation required for effective controlled cutting. Active in all Automatic Modes, ACE monitors and automatically adjusts voltage, spark and power. This results in the delivery of consistent, repeatable endoscopic cutting and hemostatic effects and removes the variability often seen in endoscopic applications of electrosurgery. ARC Sense A C E P_Control V_Sense With Endo-Mode you have true cutting-edge technology Endo-Mode is a dynamic process controlled cutting mode. It offers pulsed or fractionated currents that provide controlled cutting with varying, adjustable degrees of coagulation. Time G levels permit quick adjustments to the duration or length of the cut and the intensity of the hemostatic effects. n Polypectomy n Hot Biopsy n Sphincterotomy n BiCap Hemostasis n EMR-ESD
ConMed has been the dependable choice for Argon Beam Coagulation (ABC ) for the past 2 decades Argon Beam Coagulation (ABC) with the ConMed Beamer Plus Argon Beam Coagulation (ABC) also called Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC) is a non-contact coagulation method. ConMed ABC technology achieves enhanced clinical effectiveness by focusing radio frequency energy in a directional, non-contact, beam of argon gas. The result is faster hemostasis, a more homogeneous eschar, less tissue damage, and limited penetration depth when compared to conventional coagulation technologies. Benefits of ABC n Less tissue carbonization n Reduced procedure time n Limited penetration depth n Enhanced clinical effectiveness Indications for ABC n Hemostasis: Vasular ectasias, bleeding ulcers, bleeding varices n Ablation: Barretts esophagus, polyp & remnant adenomatous tissue, debulking malignant tumors Argon Steady Steady beam Argon Fast fast beam repetition rate Argon Slow slow beam repetition rate Argon Super Superfast beam repetition rate
Innovation in the GI Suite Beamer Plus Accessories Resect It Beam It Braided Snare Monofilament Snare Beamer Argon Snare Probes Two Functions, One Product Efficiency in procedure Beamer Snare probes are dual mode combination probes allowing you to remove polyps and other abnormal tissue with subsequent argon coagulation of the site. This advantage eliminates the need to exchange instruments for performing the coagulation in a second step. When it comes to challenging lesions, the powerful Beamer Argon Snare Probe allows you to do en bloc or piecemeal EMR followed by full argon ablation of the residual tissue to decrease the chance of polyp recurrence. ConMed s proprietary spiral and stiff monofilament loops are designed for grabbing flat lesions. The Beamer Argon Snare program on the Beamer System CE600 allows easy toggling between resection and ablation therapies, making for a more efficient procedure, reducing the need to exchange devices and programs on the generator. n Snare and resect n Ablate suspicious areas Beamer Argon Probe Superior outcomes Ceramic tip n Visual contrast of the probe against mucosa Long beam n Beam initiated without contact with the mucosa Versatile therapy n 1.8mm, 2.3mm & 3.2mm provide choice in therapy Ceramic Tip Long Beam
Intuitive Design, with Quick Step Control Control Switch backlight code: n Yellow = Cutting n Blue = Coagulation n White = Menu n Off = Inactive Control at your fingertip The rotary control allows you to operate the system quickly, single-handedly and with complete comfort. All menu settings and machine parameters can be set and changed rapidly with a quick turn of the controller. The current operating state is immediately recognizable by the backlight, a status-indicating system specially developed on the Beamer System. Customize your programs The system memory offers 99 storage positions for user-defined programs in addition to the preset standard program. These settings can be stored under specific indications, locations or your name the choice is yours. The Last Used Programs can be instantly accessed from the system s quick pick list. Choose your setting Automatic Mode Pictograms permit users to rapidly select outputs by the desired clinical application or effect. Beamer offers 5 preset automatic pictograms, each program designed to deliver optimal clinical results. All modes can be customized to meet the needs of the expert user as required. Polyp Cut I Pulsed cut with minimal coagulation Use this setting for snare resection of flat based, sessile polyps, mucosectomy or piece meal resection. Polyp Cut II Pulsed cut with strong coagulation This setting addresses small or pedunculated polyps Papilla Cut I Pulse cut with no extra coagulation Appropriate for low hemorrhage incisions with a papillotome or pancreatic papillotomy Papilla Cut II Pulse cut with minimal coagulation This setting is designed for low hemorrhage incisions with a papillotome, wire loop ESD Pulse cut for submucosa dissection with a needle knife Quick Pick List of Last Used Programs.
Modularity The Beamer System is modular in design. You can upgrade your Beamer ESU with a Beamer Plus ABC or Beamer Irrigation Pump at any time. The Beamer software can be upgraded as required, through the serial port connection, via a standard MS compatible computer. This feature helps keep your Beamer System updated without the need to return the device. Double Foot-Pedal Unit with Integrated Swap-Mode Button The Swap-Mode button located between the pedals allows users to switch between two linked programs by foot without the need to touch the generator. Beamer Pump On Demand Irrigation Beamer Irrigation Pump is used for on-demand endoscopic irrigation for improved visibility and permits the washing away of any blood/ particles or debris. The Beamer Pump allows the physician to control irrigation through a foot pedal.
