ReadyRoam is a promotional data roaming plan that is available for a limited period from 27 May to 31 December 2016 and is valid for 30 days upon activation. This plan offers affordable data roaming at $20 or $35 for 1GB of data. What are the pre-requisites for subscribing to ReadyRoam? a. You must have either An AutoRoam or Pay-As-U-Roam service; and GPRS service AutoRoam and Pay-As-U-Roam enables you to connect to Singtel s roaming service in more than 238 international destinations. AutoRoam has a recurring subscription fee of $10 per month and you can roam with no added surcharge to the Pay-Per-Use roaming rates. Pay-As-U-Roam has no recurring monthly fee but a 25% surcharge will apply to the Pay-Per-Use roaming rates. For more details, please click here. b. You must be a Singtel postpaid mobile customer with a mobile line registered under your personal NRIC. Please check with your respective account manager if your mobile line is registered under business registered number (BRN).

ReadyRoam caters to travelers who are light/moderate data users and prefer to manage their data roaming spends over their travelling period. 5. Will the start and end date of ReadyRoam be based on the timing of the foreign country that I am in? Yes, the start and end date of ReadyRoam will be based on the timing of the foreign country that you are in. 6. Can I subscribe to another ReadyRoam Plan after I have utilised the 1GB bundled data within 30 days? No, ReadyRoam is valid for 30 days upon activation. However, you can enjoy discounted pay-per-use charges after you have utilized the 1GB bundled data within 30 days. For ReadyRoam (11 countries), discounted pay-per-use charges are charged at $0.019/MB ( $20/GB). For ReadyRoam (26 countries), discounted pay-per-use charges are charged at $0.034/MB ( $35/GB). 7. What happens if I did not completely utilise the 1GB bundled data within 30 days? There will be no refund given for unused data allowance. All unused data allowance will expire at 23:59hrs (foreign destination time) of the 30 th day upon activation.
8. How will I be charged if I have completely utilised the 1GB bundled data within 30 days? Excess data beyond the 1GB bundled data on our preferred networks will be chargeable at $0.019/MB ( $20/GB) for ReadyRoam (11 countries) and $0.034/MB ( $35/GB) for ReadyRoam (26 countries). 9. I am travelling to China and Indonesia. Can I use the ReadyRoam (11 countries) $20 Plan for both countries? Yes, you can use the 1GB data bundle across any of the 11 destinations if your travel period is within 30 days e.g. 500MB in China and 500MB in Indonesia. 10. I am travelling to South Korea and Italy. Can I use the ReadyRoam (26 countries) $35 Plan in both countries? Yes, you can use the 1GB data bundle across any of the 26 destinations if your travel period is within 30 days e.g. 500MB in South Korea and 500MB in Italy. 11. I am transiting in Japan on 1 November and will arrive in USA on 31 October. Which date should I select for ReadyRoam (26 countries) if I want to use the plan in both countries? As USA is 13 hours behind Japan, please select the start date to be on 31 October in order to use ReadyRoam in both countries. 12. Will I receive any alerts on my data usage consumption? Yes, alerts will be sent to you when you have utilised 70% and 100% of your bundled data. 13. How can I check my data usage consumption? You may check via the following channels: Channels b. 14. I have subscribed to ReadyRoam (26 countries) from 1 to 30 November. Why did I receive Pay-Per-Use alerts on 30 November while using data roaming in the USA and still have 300MB left? The expiry and usage alerts are sent based on Singapore timing (GMT +8). However, the end date of the plan is based on the foreign destination that you are in. If you have not exceeded the 1GB data bundle, please ignore the Pay-Per-Use alerts as you can still enjoy the plan till 23:59hrs on 30 November (USA timing). If you have enabled the auto-suspension function, you may disable the function or increase the limit so that you can continue to enjoy the plan till 23:59hrs on 30 November (USA timing). 15. Can I sign up for two of the same ReadyRoam Plans? No, you can subscribe to one ReadyRoam Plan only within the 30 day period. 16. Can I sign up for both ReadyRoam (11 countries) and ReadyRoam (26 countries)? No, you can only subscribe to one ReadyRoam Plan only within the 30 day period. If you are travelling to Asia and Europe, you will need to purchase ReadyRoam (26 countries). If you are travelling to Asia only, purchasing ReadyRoam (11 countries) is sufficient. 17. Can I subscribe to ReadyRoam in advance? Yes, you can subscribe up to 7 days in advance. 18. Can I subscribe to ReadyRoam and DataRoam Saver (Daily) Unlimited Plan for the same country in the same travelling period? Yes, DataRoam Saver (Daily) Unlimited Plan would take precedence over the ReadyRoam Plan. 19. I am an EasyData Roam customer. Can I subscribe to ReadyRoam? EasyData Roam customers will be provisioned with a DataRoam Saver (Daily) Unlimited Plan automatically. There will be no need for you to purchase a ReadyRoam Plan. 20. Can I subscribe to DataRoam Daily 100MB Plan and ReadyRoam for the same country in the same travelling period? Yes, DataRoam Daily 100MB Plan would take precedence over the ReadyRoam Plan. 21. Can I subscribe to ReadyRoam and Zonal Roaming Plan in the same travelling period? Yes, you can. 22. Can I subscribe to ReadyRoam and DataRoam Saver 30-day Travel Pass in the same travelling period? No, you can only subscribe to either ReadyRoam or DataRoam Saver 30-day Travel Pass in the same travelling period.
23. Is there a Pay-As-You-Roam surcharge for the subscription of ReadyRoam? No, there is no Pay-As-You-Roam surcharge for the subscription of ReadyRoam. However, a Pay-As-You-Roam surcharge will be applicable for the excess data charges incurred after you have utilised the 1GB bundled data. 24. If I incur Pay-Per-Use charges on the preferred network in one of the 11 or 26 countries, can I request to backdate a ReadyRoam Plan? No, backdating of ReadyRoam Plans are not applicable. 25. If I have activated a ReadyRoam Plan and realised that I need more data, can I terminate my ReadyRoam Plan and subscribe to a DataRoam Saver (Daily) Unlimited Plan instead? Once a ReadyRoam Plan has been activated after 00:00hrs of the requested start date, you will not be able to terminate the plan. However, you can subscribe to an additional DataRoam Saver (Daily) Unlimited Plan to enjoy unlimited data roaming for the same travelling period. 26. Does Singtel have any plans to offer new Roaming Plans in future? We are currently reviewing our roaming packages and will keep our customers updated.
