Performance designed with durability and efficiency Designed with a 1/8 wall thickness, the full length square steel center support beam is the heart of this bollard s strength. This center support offers four 12-gauge steel fins combined with TRACE*LITE s exclusive patent pending PowerDirect compression plate providing the muscle that allows the TLED-B-HA Series to withstand immense abuse. Strength simulation tests done demonstrate that an impact from a 3,500 lb automobile traveling at 5 mph caused less than a 3/16 deflection. All the TLED-B-HA Series components have also been designed to carry the entire heat sink load so there is no need for an additional heat sink component as in traditional bollard designs. Style designed with versatility and convenience The TLED-B-HA Series has been uniquely constructed with a replaceable protective skin. The use of TRACE*LITE s PowerDirect compression plate allows the outer skin to be easily slipped off without challenging the integrity of the bollard. Bollards that may become dented from abuse can be conveniently updated with no need to replace the entire fixture. The top interfacing ring not only offers a pleasing architectural aesthetic, but it provides additional protection to the lamp head. The dome head is also fully enclosed to prevent debris build-up making the TLED-B-HA LED bollard even more tamper-resistant and an attractive high abuse solution. The 4 square support beam provides ample space for mounting the LED driver as well as for the TLED-B-HA s patentpending thermal management system to dissipate heat away from the LED module and driver which allows for optimum performance and durability of the LED light engine without sacrificing design aesthetics. The TLED-B-HA is ETL listed for wet locations, and all exposed hardware has robust tamper-resistant head designs. Finish: TLED-B-HA also incorporates a UV resistant, long lasting, polyester based powder coated finish. Standard colors: Black, white or bronze. All drivers are Class 2 power supplies with input voltage range of 120VAC to 277VAC, providing a Class A EMI rating and a high power factor of 0.90. The TLED-B-HA is suitable for operation in -40 C (-40 F) to 40 C (104 F) ambient conditions. Thermal Management: LEDLITElogic heat sinking technology moves heat away from the LEDs by utilizing a patent-pending chimney design that takes advantage of thermal convection dynamics maximizing system performance and delivering a 70,000 hour life with 70% lumen maintenance. Environmentally Friendly Design: TLED-B-HA luminaires consume very little energy and provide long life in comparison to traditional lamp technologies. Our manufacturing process utilizes no hazardous substances such as mercury or lead. The TLED-B-HA is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant, 100% recyclable, and provides a significant reduction in Kw load and carbon emissions. Warranty: Any component that fails due to manufacturer s defect is guaranteed for 5 years. The warranty does not cover physical damage, abuse or acts of God. Manufacturer reserves the right to charge for such repairs if deemed necessary. Installation: The TLED-B-HA series features a sturdy, full length, 4 square steel support beam that is anchored to the rugged cast AL base plate with the same three (3) 3/8 x 12 J-bolts that anchor the base plate to the concrete pad. The TLED-B-HA bollard body easily installs over the support beam and is secured on the bottom end to the base plate by three tamper-resistant fasteners. At the top, an interior compression plate is installed to finish securing the support beam and bollard body to the base plate. The LED Light engine housed in the bollard head is wired to the driver using a quick connect attached to the bollard body using three additional tamper-resistant fasteners. Transient Protection System (Option: TP): The LEDLITElogic optional transient protection device is designed to be used in conjunction with our LED drivers. The -TP option utilizes a 3-leaded device that protects Line-Ground, Line-Neutral, and Neutral-Ground in accordance with IEEE/ANSI C62.41.2 guidelines. The surge current rating of the -TP option is 10,000 amps. Testing & Compliance: The reliability and performance of the TLED-B-HA is evaluated in accordance with the parameters outlined and reported by LM-79 and LM-80 documents. Photometric data is tested to IESNA LM-79-08 standard by an independent testing laboratory. Lumen maintenance, L70 a measure of long term reliability, is determined for the light source, which consists of the LED and PCB subassembly as installed in the luminaire, is determined using LM-80 in situ thermal and reliability data as provided by the LED manufacturer in accordance with DOE/EPA standards.
