Q-Implant Maraon Practical implantological hands-on courses
Q-Implant Maraon 2 Course information: TCP (Trinon Collegium Practicum) and Trinon Titanium GmbH organize since 5 years practical implantological courses. 23 courses have taken place in Cuba since 2003. More an 17.000 Q-Implants were placed by attendees during is period. Since 2005 e courses have been organised in Dominican Republic because of high demand. Also ere e participants placed 4.000 Q-Implants. The surgeons from Asia inserted in Cambodia and Laos more an 4.000 Q-Implants since 2004. This one-week course gives e opportunity to collect practical experience in implantology as well as preimplantological treatments and extreme cases in implantology under e supervison of highly skilled surgeons. Three levels are offered, e final assignment will be decided by e medical supervisors of e course: Beginner Requirements to attendees: Basic knowledge in oral surgery (practical experience in dental Implantology is not required) Basic eoretical knowledge in dental implantology Min. two years experience in general dental practice Course contents: The participants of is group will receive e basic practical experience in implantology by placing of implants (30 implants in Cuba and Dominican Republic; 22 implants in Cambodia and Laos) as main surgeon under e supervision of e teacher and participation at about 60 operations (assistance to oer colleagues from e group). The attendees will receive e introduction in e basics of pre-implantological bone augmentation and reconstruction. They can also take part in e trainings for prosetic treatment. Advanced I Requirements to attendees: Basic surgical knowledge Practical experience wi at least 50 implants Min one year experience in oral surgery or participation in Q-Implant Maraon in e group Beginner Course contents: The participants of is group will increase eir practical experience by learning different implantation techniques and insertion of e implants in difficult cases. The participants of is group will also make e following operations: - sinus-lifts as e main surgeons and assistances by sinus-lift - cases wi bone augmentation - management of e complications Advanced II Requirements to attendees: Practical experience wi at least 200 implants Min. two years in oral surgery or participation in Q-Implant Maraon in e group Advanced I Course contents: The participants of is group will increase eir practical experiences in e treatment of extreme implantological cases. They will also participate in e operations of big sinus-lifts wi autologious bone and learn e techniques of taking bone extra-oral and onlay plastic and titanium mesh application. General requirements: The participants of all groups should provide e following documents: - copy of dentistry license - curriculum vitae wi description of practical skills and post-graduated education and trainings in English language - medical certificate (attestation, at ere are no infection diseases as hepatitis A, B, HIV) - copy of e passport (should be valid at least 6 mons from e end of e course) The final decision for participation in e groups Advanced I Advanced II will be made by medical supervisors of e group. The local auorities will NOT make EXCEPTIONS and wiout ese documents e participants will not be able to sign on for e course.
