The device was designed with a number of special features for operating a cellular based connected car device*, with an emphasis on audio quality, easy dialing and easy operation capabilities through the physical keyboard and touch screen. VOYAGER supports a variety of applications and navigation services, and features a 3.5 display and large buttons, designed to enable you to use the connected car device easily and safely. 1 For your safety WARNING: To avoid injury, read the following important safety information before using VOYAGER. The manufacturer will not be held responsible for any damage resulting from nonstandard use or usage contrary to the instructions in this manual. Service! Do not disassemble the installed device or its accessories. In the event of device malfunction, contact your nearest service center. Vehicle systems! RF signals may affect electronic systems that have been installed in motorized vehicles or that are not properly protected. Before installing any equipment in your car, you must consult with the car manufacturer. Vehicles with installed airbags! An air bag inflates with great force. Do NOT place objects, including either installed or portable wireless equipment, in the area over the air bag or in the air bag deployment area. If invehicle wireless equipment is improperly installed and the air bag inflates, serious injury could result. Warning signs! Turn off your car phone in places that display a warning sign. Obey all signs and instructions. 4

Turn off the device to avoid the risk of explosion! Turn off the device in all places that are susceptible to explosion, including fueling areas (such as gas stations), areas with a high content of chemicals, grains, dust, or metal dust in the air, and any other areas where it is recommended to turn off the vehicle s motor. Antenna When installing the device in your vehicle, use only an approved cellular antenna. Any use of an unauthorized antenna, or changes or additions made to the antenna may cause damage to the device and affect its effectiveness. Disclaimers The VOYAGER device must be installed by an approved professional installer. Accel Telecom Ltd. will not be responsible for any issues related to the device installation or for any damage to the vehicle resulting from the installation or from the use of the device in your vehicle. The audio-out feature will work only in cars that support an auxiliary (AUX) input to the vehicle sound system. In cars that do not support an auxiliary input, a third-party solution may be necessary. Accel Telecom Ltd. is not responsible for any third-party accessories that were not supplied with the product, and /or any damage caused to the product by any third-party accessories. 5

OBDII connectivity is not supported on all cars and models. OBDII may not be allowed in certain cars, this should be checked with the car manufacturer prior to the installation. VOYAGER does not include cellular or data connectivity. These should be purchased separately from your local mobile provider and depend on network plans in your region. Any use of the device is subject to the purchase of such plans and may be limited depended on the services provided by your cellular operator. Accel Telecom Ltd. is not responsible for any third-party applications and cannot guarantee that any such application will work on the device. The use of third party software applications installed on the device is subject to the acceptance of the terms and conditions of the specific software application and is limited in accordance with the application vendor terms. 3 Call functions 3.1 Receive a call When receiving a call, the device s view screen will change its display and show incoming call details. To accept the call, press. To reject the call (or to disconnect after completing the call) press. 3.2 Make a call 3.2.1 Make a call using the keyboard Enter in the desired number using the keyboard. To correct a dialed number, touch the or press to delete the last digit. Press to make the call. To disconnect after completing the call, press. 3.2.2 Make a call from the Call log The Call log displays the last calls made. In Phone mode, press. Touch to view the last calls: Missed calls, outgoing calls, incoming calls, and outgoing & incoming calls. After locating the number you wish to call, touch Call to or press. 12

3.2.3 Make a call from the Contacts list Touch to open the Contacts list. After locating the contact, press. 3.2.4 Using the Voice Dialer The Voice Dialer is a phonetic based engine. (For users that are using any language other than English, it is recommended to add the phonetic name to each contact). Prior to using the Voice Dialer, set the voice search language in the settings menu (choose the language according to your spoken language): Settings, Language & input, Voice Search, Language. After the Settings are done, to enable the Voice Dialer, please press and release the voice recognition key (see section 2.2). Now you can use the Voice Dialer. There are two options to do so: 1. Press and release the voice recognition key (see section 2.2). Now touch the microphone icon and say the name of the contact you want to call. 2. Press and hold the voice recognition key (see section 2.2). Now say the name of the contact you want to call (while the 13

voice recognition key is pressed and release the key shortly after saying the name). 3.2.5 Available options during an active call During an active call, the following additional actions are possible: End End call Call on hold Place the call on hold Mute Silence the microphone Dial pad Screen dial pad Changing volume Conference call 4 Contacts 4.1 Search for a contact Touch to open the Contacts list. Slide with your finger up/down to find a contact, or touch to search by name. 14

4.2 Add a new contact Touch Touch to open the Contacts list. to add a new contact. Choose the location where you wish to save the new contact, and fill the fields. Touch to save. 4.3 Edit a contact Touch to open the Contacts list. Slide with your finger up/down to find a contact. Select the one you need, and Edit. 5 Smart dialing The VOYAGER device supports a special smart dialing option that enables you to dial directly from Home screen. To begin searching with Smart Dial, press the device keys on the home screen and the device will load the results and update them for each key that is pressed. Smart dial will search numbers and names based on the sequence of keys pressed. To search for the contact John, press the following sequence of keys 5, 6, 4, 6, and the Smart Dial will show the results based on this sequence of keys, including John. 15

6 Accounts & Sync Use this option to synchronize contacts and calendar. Touch Settings, Accounts & Sync and select Add Account. Note that it will require an active Internet connection. Touch Add Account. Select the type of account to add and sync, and follow the instructions on the screen. Most accounts require a username and password, but the details depend on the type of account and the definition of the service to which you are connecting. Depending on the type of account, you may be asked to define what types of data you want to synchronize, give the account a name and specify details. 16

7 Settings menu The Settings menu includes all application and phone menu settings. On the main screen, press Menu key. Next, select Settings to open the settings menu. 18

The device will search and display available networks. Select an available network. If the network is secured, you will be required to enter a password. Select Bluetooth on/off. After enabling Bluetooth, you can access Bluetooth settings. Set mobile data limit Turn off all wireless connections and communications. Set and manage your Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). Set your device as a wireless router or router to which you can connect via a USB cable, and share your device s data connection with other devices. 8 Audio out VOYAGER supports an audio out line that should be connected during installation to the vehicle s audio system in order to use this feature. VOYAGER can switch all device media (except telephone calls) to either the VOYAGER speaker or to the vehicle audio system through the AUX input (if supported by the vehicle). You can switch between outputs using one of the following methods. 8.1 Settings menu In the Settings menu, select Sound and then select Route media. The Route media menu enables you to select between Audio out and Speaker. 8.2 Widget On the main screen, touch the screen continuously for 3 seconds on an empty area (where you would like to place the widget). A menu will appear; select Widgets, and then select Audio Route. The audio out switches between the AUX and Speaker modes every time you press the Audio Route widget. 23

9 Wi-Fi portable hotspot VOYAGER supports a portable hotspot mode that can be turned on and off in two ways. The use of the device as a hotspot may be limited or subject to additional payments to the cellular operator. 9.1 Using the Settings menu In the Settings menu, select More under Wireless & Networks. Select Tethering & portable hotspot and then select the checkbox Portable WLAN hotspot to enable or clear the checkbox to disable the portable hotspot feature. 9.2 Using the Widget On the main screen, touch the screen continuously for 3 seconds on an empty area (where you would like to place the widget). A menu will appear; select Widgets, and then select Hotspot. The hotspot widget turns the portable hotspot feature on and off each time you press the Hotspot widget. 24

Telephone Warranty Definitions TCT Mobile : Device manufacturer. Accel Telecom Ltd. : VOYAGER device developer and distributor. Accel Telecom Ltd. will provide the Warranty services for VOYAGER products. The Product : VOYAGER products. Customer : Whomever legally owns the product and the Warranty. Authorized dealer : Any entity authorized by Accel Telecom Ltd., or by the cellular communications network operator, to market the Product. Mobile radio telephone system : Cellular mobile radio telephone systems. Authorized Service Point : A Service Center / Laboratory providing technical services and certified accessories authorized by Accel Telecom Ltd. or by the cellular communications network operator. Point of Sale : A point of sale offering the product for sale to the public. Accel Telecom Ltd. is liable towards the customer only in respect of any defects in workmanship and/or materials, providing that the product has been used in a proper and reasonable manner, subject to the following. 25

Service will be provided by Accel Telecom Ltd. subject to the following terms: 1. The warranty for this product will be provided for a period of one year (12 months) - the Warranty Period. Notwithstanding the above, if the customer is not defined as a consumer in accordance with the 1981 Consumer Protection Law. The Warranty Period begins when the product is handed over to the customer. Accessories warranty period is for 3 months. 2. The Warranty is only valid for VOYAGER products. 3. A Product found to be defective during the Warranty Period as a result of defective materials, and/or normal use, will be repaired by Accel Telecom Ltd. Alternatively, the defective parts, or those that did not function according to the technical specifications, will be replaced with new and original parts, at the sole discretion of Accel Telecom Ltd., and at its expense. Accel Telecom Ltd. will provide the customer with a confirmation that the repair has been carried out; this will include details regarding the nature of the repair, and any parts which have been replaced. In the event that a product will not be repaired Accel Telecom Ltd. will provide the customer with a new and identical product; or a product of similar and equivalent type and quality; or will reimburse the customer for the full cost price of the device, all at the discretion of Accel Telecom Ltd. The obligation to make such repairs as described in this section is subject to the instructions and limitations included in this Warranty. 4. Customer acceptance of the product constitutes the customer s confirmation that the external packaging of the 26

product and its external parts: including screen, keyboard, etc., are new and free of defects at the time of purchase. 5. In the event that the product was repaired or replaced by Accel Telecom Ltd. the repaired or replaced product will be covered by this Warranty for the remaining Warranty Period. The Warranty Period will not be extended beyond the original Warranty Period due to repairs and/or replacements. In the event that the defective product or parts of it were replaced, such product or parts will be the property of Accel Telecom Ltd. after the replacement. 6. Should the customer wish to activate the Warranty this Warranty must be presented and, at the discretion of Accel Telecom Ltd., the customer may also be required to provide written proof of the Product purchase date. 7. The customer will cover any expenses incurred in shipping/delivering the Product to or from the Authorized Service Point. 8. The product will be repaired within ten working days from the date it was received at the Authorized Service Point or, alternatively, within 14 working days from the date it was delivered to a Point of Sale 9. This Warranty does not cover any repairs to any systems that are not an original part of the Product. 10. In the event that any defect in the Product which manifested during the Warranty Period resulted from any of the occurrences listed hereunder, Accel Telecom Ltd. and/or the Authorized Service Point will notify the customer prior to carrying out the repair. In such instances the customer will be obligated to pay Accel Telecom Ltd. and/or the Authorized Service Point on its behalf, for the transportation, shipping, 27

work, materials, components, accessories, etc., which were required to implement the repair, based on the Accel Telecom pricelist valid at such time. In instances where defects were caused by improper and/or unreasonable use and/or handling which does not conform to Accel Telecom Ltd. instructions, device installation by a non-approved installer and/or negligence, neglect, defective maintenance, breakage, penetration of liquids, excessive humidity, improper storage, repairs and/or installations and/or additions and/or changes and/or any kind of technical handling by any entity and/or person and/ or service point which have not been authorized to do so by Accel Telecom Ltd.; accidents (including, but not limited to: fall, breakage, lightening strike, liquids, fire), burnt fuses and/or use of accessories that have not been approved by Accel Telecom Ltd., and/or any other reason not related to Accel Telecom Ltd. 11. This Warranty will not apply to the Product, and the customer will not be compensated by this Warranty, in the following instances: - The customer did not submit the product for repair during the course of the Warranty Period. - Defects resulting from intentional vandalism. - The identifying serial number on the Product s identification label, or the date code on the accessory, have become illegible and/or were removed and/or were erased and/or were altered. - Where lack of availability and/or operational range and/ or coverage by the cellular service and/or malfunction 28

in the mobile radio telephone system operated by and on behalf of whomever was authorized to do so by the Ministry of Communications, and/or because of excessive load on their wireless system, and/or because of any wireless disruption which was not caused by any defect in the Product. 12. Without limiting the aforesaid, in no such event will Accel Telecom Ltd., and / or an Authorized Service Point and / or any Authorized dealer, and / or any of their respective employees, managers or contractual worker, bear any liability (whether due to contractual, tort or any other ground) due to loss or damage to data and / or material and / or programs, which were stored and / or installed on the product. 13. The overall liability of Accel Telecom Ltd. and TCT Mobile in the event of claims for any damages caused as a result of using the product, regardless of the circumstances in which the damage was caused, will in no event exceed the original purchase price of the product. In no instance will Accel Telecom Ltd. and TCT Mobile have any liability for indirect and/or special and/or consequential and/or accompanying damage, neither directly nor indirectly, neither by accident nor as a result of using the product, including but not limited to any losses in income and/or profit that may occur to the customer, and/or loss of, damage to, compromise or corruption of data; or any indirect or consequential loss or damage howsoever caused including the replacement of equipment and property, any costs of recovering, programming, or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with the product or any failure to maintain the confidentiality of information stored on the Product, and/or 29

any loses caused to third party as a consequence of non-use of the product or accompanying equipment, and any claims by any third party following use of the product. 14. Except for the explicit liability undertaken by Accel Telecom Ltd. and TCT Mobile under the terms of this Warranty, Accel Telecom Ltd. and TCT Mobile have issued no other Warranty or obligation, neither in writing nor orally. Liability for the products or their usage, including but not limited to their conformity for use, will be subject to the provisions of this Warranty alone. Loss of revenue; loss of actual or anticipated profits (including loss of profits on contracts); loss of the use of money; loss of business; loss of opportunity; loss of goodwill; loss of reputation; loss of, damage to, compromise or corruption of data; or any indirect or consequential loss or damage howsoever caused including the replacement of equipment and property, any costs of recovering, programming, or reproducing any program or data stored in or used with the product or any failure to maintain the confidentiality of information stored on the Product. 15. Except as set in the warranty herein, the customer purchases the product as is, with no warranty, representation or conditions, express or implied, or of any kind whatsoever with respect to the product, including but not limited to: fitness for any particular purpose or use; design, condition, quality, or performance of the product. 16. An authorized dealer and/or an authorized service point and/or any entity or/individual whatsoever that has not been authorized by TCT Mobile and/or Accel Telecom Ltd. to provide a Warranty and/or any obligation whatsoever that exceeds the scope of this Warranty. 30

17. The Warranty provided herein is valid only within the borders of the State of Israel. The only Laws that will apply to the provisions of this Warranty are the laws of the State of Israel. The sole jurisdiction applicable to all matters pertaining or relating to this Warranty is that of the competent courts in one of the following four cities: Beer Sheba, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa. 31
