As a Columbia alumnus himself, Rabbi Blum has been at Columbia in different roles for many years. Utilizing the Chabad House on 113th Street, he facilitates discussions, leads Shabbat services, and advises and councils many students. Rabbi Blum has worked with Chabad and Columbia students since 1997. Rabbi Hain is the Campus Rabbi at Columbia/Barnard Hillel. In his work, Yonah guides the educational, interfaith and religious initiatives of the robust pluralistic Jewish community. He has been a member of Hillel staff since January 2007. A classically trained Talmudist in various American and Israeli institutions, Yonah combines his traditional textual skills with an appreciation for contemporary thought. Dr. Anne Klaeysen serves the Ethical Humanist students on campus. Additionally, she is a leader in the New York Society for Ethical Culture. A graduate of the Humanist Institute, she is now co- Dean of the institute. Anne was a leader of the Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island from 2002 to 2008. She holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Hebrew Union College.
