Campus Connect Campus Connect is your student information portal and where you will complete many important functions such as course registration, tracking financial aid, checking your email, logging into Blackboard to see your online courses and connecting with your instructors and fellow students. You will need a C# or student ID to create a Campus Connect account and gain access. You will receive your C# in your acceptance packet after you apply.

Campus Connect Student Schedule view your schedule(s) Add or Drop Classes after your first semester, use this link to register for classes. Also used to drop classes. If you have trouble using this please contact your advisor or call 855 345 OHIO. Course Search search for courses by semester. Choose Ohio Ivy Tech Online for your campus.
Campus Connect View Account Balance this is where you can see if payments or financial aid have posted to your account. If expecting a refund, you can see if your balance zeroed out here as well. 1098 T Tax Form View or print your 1098 T tax form for previous years. Student Information Home campus, advisor s name, program of study, etc
Campus Connect Enrollment Verification View your enrollment information and print an Enrollment Certificate (requested by some healthcare providers). Transcript View or print your unofficial transcript.
Campus Connect Registration Status Make sure you are in good standing and able to register for classes. Grades View your official grades after each semester. Instructors are expected to post grades within three days of the end of class.
Campus Connect View Holds See if you have any holds that may prevent you from registering for classes. Degree Status (DARS) This tool lets you run an audit to see which electives are compatible with your program of study.

Student Success and Technology Course All new Ivy Online Ohio students will need to successfully complete the new Student Success and Technology course before registering for classes. Please contact your Admissions Counselor with questions about this requirement. IVYT 101 Online Learning Technologies Regardless of your major, you will enroll in IVYT 101. One credit hour course about online learning technologies Will assist you in successfully completing online courses Class features an assessment (Smarter Measure) that will give you feedback on your readiness for online courses so you continue to brush up on your skills to ensure success. Please Note: This class cannot be dropped using the Add or Drop Classes link in Campus Connect. Your advisor must help you if you decide to drop this class.
Advising Working with your assigned advisor will provide to you: Your academic plan A numbered course sequence to be followed for registration Guided support for the course registration process
Who will help me register? The Admissions Office will initially counsel all Ivy Tech Online Ohio students through their first semester registration. Following your initial registration, you will be transitioned to an Academic Advisor in the Academic Advising Center. Sandi Werking, Admissions Counselor, will counsel all incoming students. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) Affords students the right to maintain privacy of their educational records. Students have control of their records and will decide if access is granted to another individual. WRITTEN consent must be provided to the Registrar s Office. Transfer Information Once you complete a degree program at Ivy Tech, it doesn t have to be the end of your education journey. Ivy Tech has agreements with many four year colleges and universities, meaning that you can use the credits you have earned towards a Bachelor s degree and beyond.
Transfer Information If you wish to transfer to a four year college/university following your Ivy Tech education, the Academic Advising Center will work closely with you to ensure that your academic plan provides the best options for you and your future education. Registration Your Admissions Counselor will help you register for your first courses here at Ivy Tech Online Ohio. For future semesters, you will be able to register for classes in Campus Connect, but we recommend that you contact your Academic Advisor before doing so to ensure you are selecting the appropriate courses and in the correct course sequence.
Registering for Classes After you have completed your first semester, you can register for courses online through Campus Connect. To register, click on the Add or Drop Classes link in the green My Ivy Tech section. Always choose the Ohio Ivy Tech Online option when searching for courses.
Paying for Classes Students are officially registered and able to attend class after all fees are satisfied or online payment arrangements have been made. Students must be in an arranged to pay status by the payment deadline for each term or the student will be dropped for non payment. If the amount of financial aid received does not cover the cost of your tuition and fees, you will need to make payment arrangements.
Paying for Classes A student is in an arranged to pay status when one or more of the following is posted to the student s Ivy Tech account: Financial Aid such as grants and loans Payment in full credit, debit card, or e check are accepted Payment plan (deferral) Minimum Down Payment REQUIRED, arrangements can be made via Campus Connect by clicking Set Up Payment Plan in the green My Ivy Tech section. Employment Payment Notification/Purchase Order Third Party Sponsor Notification
Financial Aid A majority of students rely on some type of financial aid to help cover the cost of higher education. We have informational videos available to help you understand financial aid how financial aid works. Just click on the Financial Aid TV quick link in Campus Connect.
How to Apply for Financial Aid Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.ed.gov If you wish to apply for financial aid for the Fall 2014, Spring, 2015 and Summer 2015 terms, please complete the 2014-2015 FAFSA form.
Financial Aid - Campus Connect The Financial Aid Links in the green My Ivy Tech section of Campus Connect can help you track, authorize and verify financial aid. You can also use these links to: Monitor and complete your Verification requirements Monitor your financial aid awards by semester View any financial aid messages or holds placed on your account for financial aid purposes
Financial Aid Priority Dates Students may apply for financial aid at any time. In order to ensure priority processing and on time delivery of eligibility, students must apply and return all requested forms/verification paperwork to their Ivy Tech Financial Aid Office as soon as possible. In addition, students that have all of their financial aid requirements completed early will have their aid available to use at the bookstore the first day it opens.
Dropping a Class You may drop or withdraw from a class in Campus Connect by clicking on the Add or Drop Class link in the green My Ivy Tech section. WARNING: If you wish to drop or withdraw from a class, please contact the advisor listed on your acceptance letter BEFORE doing so to find out if it will impact your financial aid eligibility. Please Note: IVYT 101 cannot be dropped using the Add or Drop Classes link in Campus Connect. Your advisor must help you if you decide to drop this class.
Standards of Academic Progress (SAP) In order to continue financial aid eligibility and to be in good standing in the college, every student must follow standards of academic progress. Progress will be evaluated at the end of each term of enrollment. Students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA to be considered in Good Standing at Ivy Tech. Student Resources - Bookstore Our online bookstore is the one stop shop for your course materials. You can access the bookstore by clicking on the bookstore link under Quick Links in Campus Connect. To find out what books you need, search for your class by number using the Course Search link in the green My Ivy Tech section of Campus Connect.
Student Resources - Blackboard Blackboard is the learning management system that contains all of your online course information and materials. Since you are an online student, Blackboard is the place where you will attend class and submit homework assignments. A Blackboard Resource Guide is available in Campus Connect to help get you acquainted with it. You can access Blackboard via Campus Connect or directly at: online.ivytech.edu
Student Resources - Tutor.com To help support your academic progress in Math and English, Ivy Tech Online Ohio is providing services to you through Tutor.com. Check Campus Connect for more information on accessing this learning support tool.
