October 2013 - January 2014. Senior Drupal Developer: Pfizer HCP Portal Work with small team in delivery of Pfizer s global Health Care Professional portal. The portal is based on Drupal 7 distribution Panopoloy, which involves the creation of Panels, modules, views, features, with performance techniques and caching. The portal is fully multi lingual, and caters for bi-directional languages, and full translatable intface for all language types. Designed to deliver personalised content and to create micro sites which are dedicated and tailored on visitor profile and classification metrics to provide tagged content so the visitor always has an informed and rich experience. This stack enabled Comic Relief to process in real time, have no requirement for an asynchronous queue (Java) application. Acquia Amazon Carrenza We created a fully functional drop back light weight website, I believe a first for Acquia, which provided the capability of maintaining donations whilst reducing network bandwidth during extreme demand. The prime concept of the design was to utilise a best practice approach focused on business requirement, and to have zero down time, whilst providing visitors with a feature rich experience on any device. Architect and Lead Developer BBC Worldwide The BBC have a requirement to monetise their digital assets. I worked on the design concept of using Drupal to provide a multisite solution to support and promote the business requirement. The design focuses on a common core approach (Drupal s Domain Access project and Omega / display suite) to enable sites to be styled and deployed rapidly. A key challenge is the migration of legacy content and data into Drupal content and entities. A major site (Goodfood) is representative, with a complex data structure to support recipes. The requirement is to provide a matrix of recipe, ingredient, food type, supporting assets (Video etc). Drupal s entity API provides a versatile approach that can be scaled with CDN NginX Varnish etc. Drupal Architect, Drupal Lead Developer (January 2012 to June 2012) One Young World & HRH The Duke of York: One Young World: Create a new Drupal website which will replace the current.net site. The new site incorporates a bespoke Events and Summits application to meet the clients specific requirements. The application encompasses E- commerce, multi-currency and multi-lingual functionality. Built with CI and TDD techniques the application enables Events registration, corporate and individual sponsorship and a E-Commerce payment systems. My responsibilities include Drupal architecture, module selection and configuration, writing the in-house Events and registration systems and payment gateways, and theming. Additionally mentoring and guiding the in-house team enabling them to provide on-going support and enhancements. HRH The Duke of York: Architect, Design and build a Drupal 7 site which will replace the Duke s current website. The site incorporates multi-media, social networking and feeds. Built with TDD (test driven development) and structured deployment the site incorporates a number of D7 features including Omega a HTML5 CSS 3 grid themeing engine for mobile devices. Systems Architect, Drupal Lead Developer (August 2011 to January 2012) Care Quality Commission: Design and build systems integration, incorporating both low level data interchange between Drupal and a number of external and legacy systems, and create a single sign-on and user authentication between Drupal and other internal websites utilising OpenSSO and OpenAM. The integrated web experience provides a single, homogonous website which is a collation of specific websites running a number of disparate technologies The application creates a link between CQC s data warehouse and the new online registration and compliance system.
