McLeod represents policyholders relating to the evaluation, negotiation and litigation of insurance coverage matters. Mr. McLeod represents developers and contractors, including specialty trades, in matters involving wrap policies, owner controlled insurance programs, project specific policies, annual policies, and alternative insurance arrangements, such as self-insurance programs, fronting programs and risk retention programs. Mr. McLeod s representation of policyholders extends to all types of first- and third-party policies, including, for example, primary, excess and umbrella liability policies, director and officer policies, error and omission policies, property policies and builder s risk policies. Mr. McLeod s representation of developers and contractors extends beyond insurance policies and includes issues that involve construction contracts, warranties, indemnity agreements, SB800 provisions and enhanced protection agreements, and other similar types of issues. He also handles broker malpractice disputes and disputes involving fiduciary relationships, real property litigation, business disputes and other types of civil litigation. Prior to founding McLeod Law Group, APC, Mr. McLeod was a member of Oliva & McLeod, ALC, where he represented developers, contractors, brokers, homeowner associations and homeowners in various transactional and litigation matters. Prior to that, Mr. McLeod was an associate at Lorber, Greenfield & Polito, LLP and Stutz, Artiano, Shinoff & Holtz, APC where his practice included the defense of developers and contractors in construction defect litigation. Mr. McLeod represents clients throughout, both in state and federal courts.
