OVERVIEW This guide outlines the information you need to know about new or improved functionality in Oracle Commerce Cloud February 2016 Release (16.1). Each section includes a brief description of the feature, the steps you need to take to enable or begin using the feature, any tips or considerations that you should keep in mind, and the resources available to help you. PLATFORM & APIS PRICE GROUP MANAGEMENT Create one or more Price Groups to use on a site o A Price Group is a set of Price Lists (List, Sale, Shipping Surcharge) that has an associated currency and individual product/sku price values Users can create multiple Price Groups including more than one with the same currency Users can chose one default Price Group for their site Enables support for sites that offer multiple currencies Allows business users to create and manage multiple Price Groups in the Administrative Console

PROMOTIONS & SHIPPING METHODS BY PRICE GROUP Users can choose which Price Groups should be associated to which promotions and which shipping methods Associating a Price Group(s) to a promotion or shipping method is optional If a promotion or shipping method is not associated to any Price Group it is implicitly associated to all Price Groups. 8

Business users can fully control which promotions are available to shoppers within each Price Group, which enables currency-based segmentation of promotions By segmenting shipping methods per Price Group users can restrict which countries and sub-divisions shoppers can ship to API ENHANCEMENTS Enhanced APIs to retrieve/update custom order properties API callers can coordinate changes with Publishing by knowing when Publishing is in progress Customers can use APIs to define custom order properties suitable for their business needs REST API calls can safely interact with Commerce even if a Publish is in progress IDLE CART WEBHOOK New webhook that triggers within a user-defined time period of cart inactivity The shopper and cart details are included in the webhook payload Abandoned cart setting defines the number of minutes until the webhook is fired. 9

Enables business users to define and identify idle carts Allows users to send messages or trigger campaigns to prevent cart abandonment GENERIC PAYMENT GATEWAY CREDIT CARDS Provides a gateway-independent framework that can be used to integrate with multiple payment gateways/processors Designed to allow customers to use Commerce Cloud webhooks to integrate with payment providers of choice Card Payment webhooks (with authentication) for the transaction types Authorisation, Void, Refund. 10

User can create, upload, and configure a payment through the Settings tab in the Administrative Console Customers can continue to use their existing payment processor Customers can change the payment processor without having to make changes through Oracle Commerce Cloud. 11

ACCESS CONTROL EXPANDED BUSINESS USER ROLES Expanded role-based access for the business user tools (per tab: Catalog, Dashboard, Design, Marketing, Media) Administrator has the ability to manage existing user permissions Provides Admin-only access to site-critical areas (i.e., Access Control, Web APIs, Extensions, and Email Settings Allows Administrator to grant access to the business user tools based on the business needs of the organization Allows Administrator to modify and manage access for existing users. 12

CATALOG & PROMOTIONS TIERED ORDER DISCOUNT TEMPLATE New template to support tiered order discounts Users can set spend amount as ranges Ranges automatically sort from low to high based on new ranges added Assign a coupon code for the shopper to redeem the promotion Allows merchants to increase the discount amount as the order value increases thus enabling ways to entice shoppers to purchase more Includes messaging for the promotion in the shopping cart; shopper sees that the discount has been added. 13

BATCH COUPONS Ability for the business user to create a batch of coupons and provide a prefix for the batch Identify the number of coupons to create in the batch and the usage for each of the coupons Export the batch coupons as a CSV file Support large-scale promotion initiatives Quickly create unique codes with a specific prefix View the codes in a simple CSV format and export for use in third-party systems. 14

COUPON USAGE Set a coupon or batch of coupons to have unlimited use Identify a specific number of uses for a coupon or batch of coupons Control how often coupons can be used after creation in the Promotions tab of the business user tools Allows merchants to offer codes that can be redeemed only once by any shopper or multiple times. 15

EXPERIENCE & DESIGN LAYOUT MANAGEMENT FOR VIEWPORTS Users can optionally create and manage separate layouts for each of the four supported viewports (x-small, small, medium, large) System will deliver proper viewport-based layouts based on the size of the shopper s device Users have complete control over the site experience for all device types Users can decide to either granularly control the experience for each device type or let the native responsive design feature manage the device experiences. 16

EXPERIMENTS OVERVIEW Oracle Commerce Cloud Service s A/B testing solution Included with Commerce Cloud and available to all customers Features direct integration with Design Studio Layouts Flexibility to support precise or broad experiment targeting Experiment Editor allows for both simple and advanced page modifications Results are dynamically updated to show impact of in-progress experiments. 17

SITE OPTIMIZATION Test and understand your hypotheses, for example: o Which promotional banner works best for each department? o If the product page highlights free delivery, are customers more likely to add the product to the basket? o Should we change the name of this category? o Will customers engage with search more if the box is bigger? o Does adding a hero product to results increase click-through? Understand the impact of a change on a subset of customers before deploying it to all Make quick yet powerful changes Replace subjective decision-making with objective evidence: I think we should make this change This change increases basket conversion by 3.2%. 18

INTEGRATION WITH DESIGN STUDIO View all experiments associated with a layout Easily add a new experiment that is associated to the layout throughout your website A/B testing is not limited to URL matching merchandisers can create their own experiments without needing developer assistance Experiments integrates directly with Design Studio, so merchandisers do not have to manage separate systems. 19

DASHBOARD VIEW OF LAYOUT EXPERIMENTS View all experiments for a layout in the dashboard The dashboard gives a high-level overview of experiment through the lifecycle: Draft, Scheduled, In Progress, and Completed Overview of all currently running experiments Quick view of any scheduled experiments Access to completed experiments to review results. 20

PRECISE OR BROAD TARGETING Target experiments against layouts or target specific sections of your website via URL matching Can be used to target individual pages Alternatively, advanced experiment use cases are possible, including parameter matching. 21

PAGE ELEMENT MODIFICATION Select the element you wish to modify by clicking with your mouse Select multiple elements to modify in the same experiment Simple to use without any training. 22

SIMPLE AND ADVANCED PAGE MODIFICATIONS Make simple text changes Edit the page styling with simple menu options For advanced users, create links and add custom JavaScript Non-technical users can easily test modifications to the page Advanced users can implement custom scenarios for testing. 23

IN-PROGRESS EXPERIMENT RESULTS Any experiment hypothesis can be viewed while in progress to get a summary of impact Results are also summarized in the dashboard Make informed decisions on changes to your website Stop unsuccessful experiments early!. 24

STOREFRONT SUPPORT FOR MULTIPLE CURRENCIES Shopper can select from a list of available currencies as set up by the customer Storefront displays products prices for the selected currency Storefront displays only the eligible shipping countries, state, regions based on selected currency Storefront displays only the eligible shipping methods based on selected currency Storefront displays only the eligible promotions based on selected currency Shoppers can browse products and transact using their preferred currency Customers have a store that truly supports multiple currency in terms of product browsing/display, shipping, promotions and order transaction at checkout. 25

API SUPPORT: CUSTOM ORDER PROPERTIES API support that enables the capture of custom order information: o Capture shopper identification details on the order to facilitate order pick up o Allow the shopper to add special shipping instructions to the order A customer can create, retrieve, and update custom order properties & values via the Administrative Console APIs Enhanced Storefront APIs to retrieve/update custom order properties Enhanced Storefront Order View Model to support custom order properties Enhanced order APIs to support updating custom order properties associated with an order Customers have flexibility to define custom order properties suitable for their business needs Storefront APIs and view models updated to support custom order properties so merchant can easily incorporate these into their store UI SUPPORT FOR NEW PROMOTION TYPES. 26

Storefront support for the newly added promotions: o Single Use Coupons o Batch Coupons o Tiered Order Discounts Promotions created in the Promotions tab of the business user tools will work and display any relevant messaging on the storefront. No customization required Shopper is granted new promotions as configured by the business user. 27

SOCIAL WISHLIST SORT BY DATE ADDED OR PRIORITY Shoppers can now sort any wish list by Date Added or Priority on both mobile and desktop views Customers can more easily organize and find items on their wish lists, which is particularly useful when there are multiple items on a wish list or when a wish list has multiple members IMPROVED EXPERIENCE ON MOBILE AND DESKTOP. 28

Infinite Scrolling on mobile Pagination of wish list pages on desktop Improved comments on wish list posts Support for multiple price groups Customers can more easily navigate and browse wish lists on mobile and desktop views Customers have a consistent experience across Storefront and Wish Lists IMPROVED CONFIGURATION OPTIONS Wish List Settings page layout now exposed in Design Studio Additional properties available for customizing wish list notifications: New Product Post, New Comment, and New Member emails Ability to configure default message for Facebook Share posts from a wish list or PDP. 29

Merchants can more easily control and customize default wish list layouts and settings to better suit their needs. 30

AGENT CONSOLE SUPPORT FOR PRICE GROUPS Customers can process orders in different currencies via configured Price Groups Supports the ability for CSRs to: o Create orders in different Price Groups o View amount and quantity of orders placed in different price groups in dashboard Shipping methods are filtered based on order Price Group Coupons can be specific to a Price Group Customer support can be centralized for different markets Customers can cater to wider region and serve customers in the local currency. 31

SUPPORT FOR COUPON USAGE Supports the coupon usage defined by the business user in the Administrative Console System validates the available uses of the coupon and shows error if it is exhausted Order return does not regenerate the coupon Allows merchants to give one-time benefit to any shopper Customers can ensure coupons are not abused and only the margin reserved for promotions is consumed Coupon usage is consistent across the digital and call center channels. 32

SUPPORT FOR TIERED ORDER DISCOUNTS Supports promotions that are created in the Administrative Console where discount varies based on order value System automatically adjusts the discount if items are added or removed after application of coupon Merchants can incentivize higher purchases by shoppers by increasing the discount Promotions are consistently applied and managed across the digital and call center channels. 33

SUPPORT FOR CUSTOM SHOPPER PROFILE PROPERTIES Agents can update custom properties as defined for a shopper profile using the Administrative Console APIs (released in v15.5) o Properties can be setup as internal or visible to shopper Enhancement to custom properties in OCCS with support now in agent console as well Customers can setup any profile parameters they want to record for shoppers Properties (like anniversary) can be used for marketing or for segmentation Customers can configure internal properties for parameters used for internal segmentation or records. 34

SUPPORT FOR CUSTOM ORDER PROPERTIES Agent Console support for custom order properties can be setup for orders using Administrative Console APIs o Properties can be configured as internal or visible to shopper Customers can setup any order parameters they want to record like shipping instructions Useful for regional requirements that may mandate national identifiers when placing online orders. 35

ABILITY TO COMPLETE MANUAL REFUNDS --- Refunds marked for manual refund can be marked complete by the Agent Console user Notes or references can be added when marking a refund as complete Provides users a way to update status of manually paid refunds Search for manual refunds will show ones still pending instead of all. 36
