EDER JOHN PINA Banco de Cabo Verde I strongly recommend this postgraduate programme to every central bank s employees interested in Central banks statistics, especially to those with background on statistics, mathematics and Economy. The programme was well structured regarding the set of subjects provided per semester as well as the infrastructure needed for the abroad students in order to attend/follow the lectures and to interact with the portfolio of products and services. LISA AND BAREND DEBEER South African Reserve Bank The postgraduate programme in is an excellent programme for any person employed in statistics compilation at central banks or national statistical offices. The programme is well balanced between theory and practice and affords the student many opportunities to apply the lectures in their work environment. It is the most authoritative programme for macroeconomic statisticians working in central banks and will undoubtedly add value to the skills set of employees from junior to senior management. We highly recommend this programme if you are serious about a career in official statistics and especially at a national central bank. ANA TERESA OLIVEIRA Banco de Portugal Being able to participate in the postgraduate programme in, with specialization in Central Banks Statistics, is an important milestone in my career because it allows me to consolidate knowledge and acquire a conceptual and analytical framework that is very important and essential to the performance of my functions at the Portuguese Central Bank. The pedagogical quality, cooperation, requirements and accuracy of the teaching staff are key factors for a better performance and greater satisfaction as a student, and also to the differentiation of the postgraduate programme in at NOVA IMS. RICARDO COLAÇO Banco de Portugal The postgraduate programme in with specialization in is essential to learn the statistical production processes of central banks, and it has been quite useful to understand and to perform the work which is done in the Statistics Department.
