Summary Only 40-50 % of preregistered proposals submitted as real proposals Highly uneven distribution in numbers of proposals between panels Uneven level of quality and compliance with H2020 requirements All panels were well covered and in general the foreseen successrates are overall comparable to previous NMP calls The SEP submission tool for submission of proposals ran smoothly The SEP evaluation tool is working well for the experts in general, but still needs updating to be fully functional (especially towards internal Commission users) Number of ex aequo proposals much higher than in FP7, because only 0,5 points for consensus score is used meaning that ranking often depends on the SME budget Considering it was among the first evaluations in H2020, the process has so far been quite successful 26
