The Control Panel allows web administrators to perform many of the most common website management activities without having to call TelePacific Support. Having these management functions available through the Control Panel will save valuable time and provide you with greater control of your website. DOMAINS CONTROL LIST: PANEL After you log into your account you will see a list of domains that have been setup for web hosting under your account: Please click the Control Panel icon to manage each domain: 3

CONTROL PANEL You will be redirected to the options that can be managed: 4

DATABASE MANAGEMENT Please click the Create Database icon: You will have a choice between Microsoft Access DSN (.mdb) and MySql. 5

FTP MANAGEMENT This functionality allows you the ability to use FTP to upload/download website changes. To manage an existing FTP Account, please click on the Manage FTP Account icon: From this screen, you are able to change the password and disable the ftp account. 7

FRONTPAGE EXTENSIONS There are two functions for using FrontPage to manage your website. 1) If you need FrontPage Server Extensions, click on the Install FP Server Ext icon: 2) To manage an existing FrontPage Account click the Manage FP Server Ext. icon: Redirected: 8

WEBSITE HOST HEADERS What is a host header? The website host header is an Internet host and port number that identifies a network resource. Using a host header gives you the ability to allow other website traffic to your domain. WWW is automatically added and cannot be removed. In the example below, a DNS A record for sales.windom1.net must also be added to allow internet traffic to this website. When a host header is added, it will display pending update in red. Once completed it will disappear. To remove a particular host header, click the 9

PASSWORD PROTECT DIRECTORIES Click the Protect Directories icon to add password protection. Choose which directory or the entire website that you would like to have a username and password dialog box pop-up when users browse to it. Choose a username and password and click Save Protect. 10

WEBSITE STATISTICS In addition to features enabling you to manage your website, the new Control Panel provides valuable statistics for your domain. For the domain you are managing, please click the View Website Statistics icon. This screen will give you updated website statistics within the last 24 hours. 11

URL REDIRECT Click URL Redirect. This option gives you the ability to redirect your website or a portion of your website to another URL (website).
