James Connington is a Human Resource Management Specialist with the IPA. He has delivered training and consultancy in Ireland and internationally on a range of HR topics. James specialises in the fields of equality, diversity and intercultural communication. In addition he has played a key role in training and consultancy in the area of recruitment and selection and he has designed and delivered programmes in the field of dignity at work, in particular the area of workplace bullying and harassment. He is the IPA representative to SIETAR Europa (The Society for Intercultural Education Training and Research). 01 240 3679 jconnington@ipa.ie Marie Fingleton is a Human Resource Management Specialist with the IPA. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and since 1993 has provided a HRM training & consultancy service to a wide range of clients in both the public & private sectors. Marie has had particular hands-on experience in the areas of recruitment & selection and performance appraisal and is accredited to administer a number of psychological instruments & management development tools. Marie also co-ordinates a suite of pensions administration training for the public sector & manages the IPA Pensions Forum for the Non-Commercial Semi State sector. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). He has a particular interest in managing employee relations, employee engagement, industrial relations and partnership and in developing management capacity in these areas. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and frequently undertakes HR related consultancy projects in addition to designing and delivering learning and development programmes across a wide range of topics for both public and private sector organisations.
