1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Please refer to the WWW specification sheet(s) for footwear construction and labeling information. Vendors must purchase all shoe boxes, hang tags and other packing materials from suppliers authorized by WWW. All supplier contact information will be provided to the vendor by Wolverine Global Operations. 2. UPC/SKU/PRICE LABELS Apply WWW UPC labels as shown on document VCP 7.5.1, section 4.11. Famous Footwear price labels are to be printed by the factory. The labels must be white with black Arial style lettering, and 3.8 cm wide x 2.5 cm high. The retail price to be used on the labels will be provided in the instructions on the WWW purchase order. Samples of the labels must be approved by WWW prior to production. Apply the price labels to the left or right of the WWW UPC label. 3. SHIPPING CARTONS & PACKING 3.1 Carton requirements for footwear Top opening, regular slotted, double wall, C-flute corrugate construction. Minimum 175 pounds per square inch (PSI) bursting strength, 32 pounds per inch width edge crush test, paper weight 33-26-33-26-33. Glued carton side seams are preferred. The use of staples in the side seams is not recommended. Cartons must be sealed with tamper evident packing tape in an H pattern on top and bottom. Do not band the cartons. o PLEASE NOTE: for First Cost type orders (orders imported by Brown Shoe Company) ONLY, cartons must be sealed with tamper-proof, Brown Shoe logo packing tape. Cartons must meet the following weight and dimensional requirements: Minimum Maximum Length: 13 (33.0 cm) 36 (91.4 cm) Width: 8 (20.3 cm) 22 (55.9 cm) Height: 7 (17.8 cm) 16 (40.6 cm) Gross Weight: 10 lbs (4.5 Kgs) 50 lbs (22.7 Kgs) 3.2 Packing footwear Pack cartons according to the WWW packing list (available from partners.wwwinc.com) and apply the corresponding WWW carton labels. Place shoe boxes in carton so that the UPC labels are facing upwards and all in the same direction. Do not double stack shoe boxes. Fill empty space in partial cartons with plain white shoe boxes clearly marked EMPTY. 4. SHIPPING CARTON MARKING 4.1 Carton labels Apply the WWW barcode carton label (license plate) to the lower left corner of longest side. The lower edge of the label should be between 1 (2.5 cm) and 2 (5 cm) from the bottom of the carton and the left edge of the label should be between 1 (2.5 cm) and 2 (5 cm) from the side of the carton. WWW license plates are not required for First Cost type orders. For First Cost type orders (orders imported by Brown Shoe Company) ONLY, the factory is responsible for ordering and paying for Famous Footwear case labels (see FORMS Famous Footwear Callout Order Form). Apply the 4 x 6 label vertically to the lower right corner of longest side. This label must be applied so that the right edge of the label is 2 (5 cm) from the right edge of the carton and the bottom of the label is 1 (2.5 cm) from the bottom edge of the carton. The envelope containing the packing list must be clearly marked as Packing List Enclosed.
