PIPE ) TAP has established since 1984 and commenced producing high density polyethylene pipe (HDPE) ranging from dia 16-1600 mm. for potable water, waste water, drainage and underground cable conduits, polypopylene pipe ( PP ) ranging from dia 20-63 mm. for hot water application and dia 90-400 mm. for chemical industries and sewage systems, and low density polyethylene ( LDPE ) pipe ranging from dia 12-32 mm. for irrigation systems and variety of injection molded fitting to suit many applications, and also prefabricated fittings to complement or jointing with steel pipe & flanges PRODUCTION FACILITIES Our factory is located approximately 20 km from center of Bangkok on Suksawad Rd, Phrapradaeng district. The products are manufactured in our modern plant of 8,000 sq. metre on the total area of 14 rai of and or 22,400 sq.metre with more than 300 employees. We have the production capacity up to 20,000 tons per annum by the year of 1997 and we are able to manufacture HDPE pipe up to 1,600 mm. in which it's considerable the first largest HDPE pipe ever manufactured in Asia. In order to meet the needs of rapidly growth economy and improving infrastructure of Thailand and neighborhood countries. T.A.P. HDPE HDPE Pipes System The High Density Polyethylene Pipes ( HDPE ) or commercial name called P.E. pipes. They are produced from a semi engineering plastic material according to ISO/TR 9080, ASTM-D 1248 that give a good physical and chemical properties for the pipes and it is the most suitable and giving the best performance for high and low pressure pipe system. The P.E. pipes are conforming to various standards ISO/R 161, DIN 8074/75, SFS 4231/32, CEN/TC 155, AS 4130 and TIS 982-2533 etc. TAP can produce P.E. pipes ranging from small diameter 16 mm up to the largest diameter 1600 mm at standard length of 6 m and 12 m, but for a small dia 16-110 mm (1/2-4 inch.) can be coiled up to 500 m. However it is very much depend on transportation suitability. Versatility P.E. pipe has superior properties so it could be used in a large number of applications; the low pressure pipe for irrigation system, the high pressure pipe up to 20 bar at 27? C for water, including some chemicals, gas and sluice pipe's system, underground cable conduits and it could be jointed with other pipe's systems. Light Weight The weight of P.E. pipe is only 1/5 of a steel pipe and 2/3 of a P.V.C. pipe of similar sizes. So, it can be coiled of 100 meters or more. This leads to significant savings in the cost of handling and transportation. Which is also need less time for installation. Flexibility P.E. pipe is produced from a good strength and flexible characteristics material. It can be bent and installed to most terrain contours without any support. P.E. pipe system has less problem designed to accommodate soil movement. Bending radius of P.E. pipe is 20-40 times of pipe diameter. Chemical Resistance P.E. pipe has a good resistance to most common organic and inorganic chemical, solvent, or sea water.
