Academic Certificates The following Academic Certificates are generally one year in duration and include courses specifically related to career requirements as well as general education courses designed to assist students to better understand the world in which they live and work. The Transfer Center will help you develop an academic plan for graduation from BCC and transfer to a four-year school. Burlington County College (BCC) has an open enrollment policy. You may begin your studies at BCC if you: Have a high school diploma or equivalency (GED) certificate. Are a high school or homeschooled student with permission. Are a non-high school graduate with the ability to perform college-level work and may benefit from a post-secondary education. o 1 Apply for admission at bcc.edu. o 2 Submit official transcripts and SAT/ACT scores. o 3 Apply for financial aid. o 4 Take the placement test (if required). o 5 Meet with an academic advisor. o 6 Register for courses. o 7 Pay tuition and fees.
