Banque de terres agricoles Since 2012, the Land Bank provides young farmers a great opportunity to start their farm with the help of agricultural landowners. Rent with or without option to purchase, loan, joint venture, leasehold, each agreement is tailored through the service advisers to future partners through the process, from first contact to the signing of notarized agreement. Managed since its inception by a nonprofit organization based in Sutton, this innovative project responds to the priorities of its developmental plan for the agricultural zone (PDZA). Fifty aspirants, both farmers and owners, are currently enrolled and more than a half-dozen agreements have already been concluded. Agricultural opportunities are very diverse, from vegetables to fruits, crops and emerging productions.
