VISION SUMMARY The vision of the First United Methodist Church, Elgin is to help people begin the journey with Jesus, grow in relationship with Him, connect with each other and serve the world. We are very happy you are here and hope that you feel welcome. If you are visiting our church, the following information may be useful for you. If you have any questions about our church, please do not hesitate to ask one of the ushers or the pastor or anyone around you or the pastor. Nursery: We value your child s presence in Worship. We also provide a loving nursery for children under 6 years old. The Nursery is located in room #300. Go through the double doors to the left of the piano. Follow the hallway to the outside door. Once outside go past the breezeway and to the right of the courtyard/playground. Children s Worship Packets: In order to help your child more fully participate in worship, we have Children s Worship Packets available to the Sanctuary entrances and in baskets under some of the pews. They are encouraged to take their artwork and leave the supplies in the bags/baskets. Restrooms: The main restrooms are located in the breezeway area leading to the courtyard/playground. Go through the double doors to the left of the piano and follow the hallway to the back of the building to go outside. The restrooms will be on your right.
