Paper Garland Cutting template When the square is folded you should get a triangle shape like this. Lay this over your triangle and cut along the lines. Cut out the square bellow and draw around on to some paper of your choice. Fold the paper as indicated on the template, from corner to corner twice then along the center to make a triangle shape like the one opposite. Use the cutting template as a guide, cutting along the folded edges. Unfold the square carefully. Make a second piece in the same way and glue one to the other with a dot of glue in each of the four corners. When the glue is dried pull the squares by the top and the bottom piece to create the garland. Make 10-20 of these shapes and glue them together with a spot of glue in the center of each square. Stapler glue a length of cord or ribbon to each end to hang your garland. You can also make a single hanging square and hang ribbons from the bottom to decorate. Have fun! Fold along the dashed lines

Instructions and tips For the boxes and ornaments follow the lines on the template, folding where shown and gluing with the flaps where shown. You can use a wet glue such as PVA, use a small amount or use double sided tape. If you re using thick card use PVA glue for best results, holding in place with paper clips until it s dry. Make sure you make up one base and one lid for each box as one is slightly larger than the other so they ll fit together. You can print a template off on paper, cut out then place over a piece of card and trace around the edge then use an embossing stylus or card folding tool and ruler to score along the fold lines. The stylus will score through the paper onto the card. If you re using patterned paper to cover your boxes or ornaments you can print the templates straight onto card and cover over the printed lines with the paper. The instructions for the paper garland are included on the sheet. If you require help at any time contact: enquiries@craftyprincess.co.uk Ornaments and boxes made using this months template set Mix and match the tags and boxes. Use the tag template shapes to decorate the ornaments too, the tree on the pyramid shaped ornament is made from polymer clay. Use stamps, ribbons and raffia to decorate as well. The simplest way of decorating, especially if you re short on time is to cover them in decorative paper. The patterned paper used on the pyramid ornament is from the Basic Grey Fruitcake collection, it s a cardstock weight paper so you can print the template straight on to the back. You could also fill the ornaments with sweets or small gifts before you close them up. Have fun!
