Application I hereby apply for the Master Programme International Construction: Practice and Law, start planned in May 2017. The target degree is a Master of Business Engineering (MBE). I m informed that the duration of the programme is four semesters (2 years) with part-time attendance in the first three semesters (3 days per month, Thu-Sat). In the fourth semester there will be the master's thesis with occasional meetings at University. My application is binding. The tuition fee for the MBE Programme is approximately 18.200. The tuition fee is exempt from value-added tax. In addition there is an administration fee each semester of approximately 170. Travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses as well as any student union membership fees and expenses for teaching material (books, lecture notes, etc.) are not covered by the tuition fee. All bank charges incurred for remitting the tuition fee are borne by the applicant. The number of places is limited; admission to the Program is subject to available places, time of application and applicant s qualifications.

Cancellation The cancellation of the application has to be submitted in writing. No cancellation fee will be charged if the cancellation is submitted within 7 days after information of admission. After this period, a cancellation is possible until no later than 6 weeks before the start of the Programme. In this case, the cancellation fee amounts to 10 % of the tuition fee. If an application is not cancelled in due time, the cancellation fee amounts to 100 % of the tuition fee. If the applicant stops or drops out of the Programme, the tuition fee will not be refunded. The Programme Director reserves the right to cancel the Programme for compelling reasons before its start. The Programme Director reserves the right to make necessary changes to the curriculum, to change the venues and make organizational changes at short notice. 2 of 7

3. Distance Learning We offer the possibility to participate online at the lectures. This means that you can attend class via an online platform in real time. By using camera, mic and speaker you can be integrated on high level quality. Please note that a stable internet connection with at least 512 kbps of bandwidth is necessary. Coming to University of Stuttgart for the exams once per semester in the first three semesters (for three days each) is mandatory as exams cannot be taken online. Also the University of Stuttgart reserves the right to staging up to two lectures which need to be attended in person due to the style of teaching (e.g. mock-up arbitration case). For occasional meetings during the fourth semester, when writing your thesis, traveling to Stuttgart might be necessary as well.
