Vodafone Cloud Storage Overview Vodafone Cloud Storage gives you another, more flexible way to store data. It s available on G-Cloud and it s: Flexible you can decide how and where to store your data Fast to deploy it can work with your existing applications and infrastructure Affordable the cost of ownership is low Adaptable it can cope with unstructured data including images, video, PowerPoint, PDFs and other documents You can access your data securely by using applications that support the EMC Atmos web services Application Programming Interface (API). And you can connect flexibly over our IP-VPN Wide Area Network (WAN), or directly in selected Vodafone data centres in the UK. There s a whole range of compatible cloud-enabled storage and business applications you can buy either from us at Vodafone or directly from independent software vendors. These can help you reduce your storage costs by automatically archiving rarely accessed or less critical data to Cloud Storage. To get started today, you can download the EMC Atmos Software Development Kit and EMC GeoDrive (for Windows) free of charge. Please speak to your Vodafone account manager or sales representative for more information about the range of compatible cloud-enabled applications. How we charge you can choose Gold, Silver and Bronze service tiers depending on the level of protection you need. We only charge you for your average storage usage and the actual amount of data you download a month by the gigabyte. So you aren t paying for capacity you don t use. That keeps your initial investment and the cost of moving to the service as low as possible. There are on-boarding charges for connecting to the service. Our data centres since we launched Vodafone Cloud Storage in September 2012, we use our own secure data centres in the north and south of the UK. Our hosting teams have a long track record of working with both public and private sector customers.

Information assurance Our Cloud Storage service on G-Cloud is suitable for IL0 data. Backup/restore and disaster recovery These are the service tiers we offer we strongly recommend Gold. Service tiers Gold Protected content, two object copies (in separate locations) Silver Protected content, single object copy Bronze Unprotected content, single object copy The Gold and Silver service tiers protect your data over multiple disks to protect from multiple disk failures. Service credits don t apply to the Bronze service tier. It s more suited for testing and development. With Silver and Bronze you choose where your data is stored. On-boarding and off-boarding On-boarding Before you start using our Cloud Storage on G-Cloud, your sales representative or account manager will work with you to choose the right services for your organisation. Then our solutions consultants will design your Cloud Storage service, including any components you need for connectivity, applications and migration services. We may also work with third-party partners for specific design, installation and support services. As we say in our service schedule, when you agree to our terms this also includes our partners terms and conditions. For each service tier you order (Gold, Silver and Bronze), we ll give you a separate set of login details for the user portal. Your primary portal account or account manager can then invite more administrators to the service with various permissions levels. They can give tokens to users and applications, allowing them access to a particular container within your storage, without being able to access data that belongs to other users or applications. Off-boarding If you tell our Order Desk that you want to stop using Vodafone Cloud Storage, we ll close your account and you ll have 30 days before we remove any remaining data. During this time we ll charge you for any

data you still have on the service and for any data you download. Once you tell our Order Desk that you want to stop using our Cloud Storage we can t accept any further liability for your data. Service management Your Vodafone account representative will discuss your requirements and then our solution consultants will design your service. Once you agree, we ll create the detailed design as part of our hosting implementation engagement process. Once you ve joined the service, this is what you get: on-boarding after agreeing the design and contract, our implementation team will set up your connections to our Cloud Storage and an admin account for you ordering extra services talk to your account manager to add services and components like additional storage accounts, connectivity and applications incidents report faults to our helpdesk by email or phone. We actively monitor all core platform components. We ll investigate and respond to any alerts according to our tried and tested incident management/escalation process change management you nominate who can make changes in your organisation and that person can email them to our Order Desk, like moving from the Silver service tier to Gold. You can also email more complex changes to our Order Desk, subject to our change management policies. Ask your account manager or sales representative for a list of our standard changes billing we ll bill you monthly in arrears for what you ve used, including individual service charges. We ll bill for optional components (like software and appliances) either monthly in arrears or as one-off charges. Take a look at our pricing document for more details self-service user portal your administrators can use this to set up user accounts and to issue tokens for different applications order Desk contact our Order Desk team to make any changes to your Cloud Storage and for any additional services or applications you need. Or speak to your sales representative or account manager operations team our dedicated operations team monitor Vodafone Cloud Storage 24/7 and 365 days a year. They carry out hardware and software maintenance and upgrades to make sure the platform is at its best for you Routine and emergency maintenance We do most of our platform maintenance without interrupting your service. If maintenance is going to involve platform outages we ll give you 10 working days notice, though we may make emergency changes at shorter notice. We strongly recommend our Gold service tier as standard, as this stores copies of your data at both of our data centres.

If we re providing you with connectivity, we ll give you specific details about performance, availability, support hours and severity definitions for that. Support We offer 24/7 support 365 days a year for our Cloud Storage and managed solutions by phone and email. For any services we deliver through partnerships, the level of support can vary. Financial recompense If you re on a Gold or Silver service tier, we ll give you service credits if we don t meet the service level agreements. For more details, ask to see our terms and conditions. User guide We ll give you a comprehensive Cloud Storage user guide for the self-service portal that you use to manage your storage accounts, users and applications. Ordering and invoicing If you make an order or ask for a quote, your account manager or sales representative will give you a reference number you can use to track your request. For quotes, you ll get progress updates from your account manager or sales representative. These may include details from our technical, design, commercial, survey and feasibility teams. For orders, our Order Desk team will keep you informed of progress. After you ve agreed the details, you ll need to fill out and sign an order form with our tariff, and terms and conditions. If you re new to Vodafone, we ll also need to set up a billing account for you.

We ll invoice you: in advance for all set up fees monthly in arrears for all recurring charges and usage charges all your charges are itemised on your bill the month after the month in which a change you ve ordered has been done or you start using a service for any other requests Ending the service If you want to cancel the contract, your storage accounts, user portal access and data will be deleted 30 days after our Order Desk team receives your request. There may be early termination fees these are described in our terms and conditions. Either party can cancel the contract for: insolvency material breach revocation, change to or non-replacement of telecommunications authorisations or licences fraud convenience on three months notice, that notice won t expire until the end of the initial period or renewal period (if applicable) force majeure We can cancel the contract: for non-payment for IPR infringement according to law, regulation, etc to prevent interference with, damage to or degradation of the Vodafone network to eliminate a hazardous condition if you misuse the service We may also terminate the contract if we remove our Cloud Storage service from G-Cloud. Data restoration/service migration We don t offer any backup or restoration services other than what we include in our Gold, Silver and Bronze service tiers. Therefore, we strongly recommend the Gold service tier as standard.

Data migration service We can help you move your data to or from our Cloud Storage. This is something we ll need to discuss with you, and we ll quote for it on an order-by-order basis. Customer responsibilities You can see full details in the service schedule terms and conditions. Your responsibilities includes: any equipment, applications or maintenance we don t provide any networking equipment we don t provide as a managed service, including switches, routers and network terminating equipment and also WAN and data centre connectivity installation of all third-party applications unless we state otherwise any loss of data caused by the installation and operation of any third-party application or optional component letting your end users, customers and third-party providers know about any outage complying with any other obligations that either we or a designated third party tell you about giving us details for a technical contact during on-boarding, a portal administrator and someone to contact in the case of an incident or fault making a suitably authorised contact available to agree our terms and conditions and sign the initial order form providing contact details for an administrator for the portal providing adequate information and contact details for a person to work with for any incident or fault resolution complying with our acceptable use policy Technical requirements You ll need a Vodafone IP-VPN service to use our Cloud Storage. You can also use direct data connections to link your networking and security infrastructure in our data centres. Details of trial services We offer 5GB trials for 28 days just ask your account manager or our sales team. We may charge for connectivity on-boarding to the Cloud Storage service, which is priced on a per-order basis. Need more information?
