INEA in CEF Energy Evaluation and selection Includes reception of proposals, admissibility/eligibility checks, selection of evaluators, evaluation, information to applicants Collaborating with Commission to identify and select qualified external evaluators 2014 Call - Receipt of 68 proposals 64 eligible Requested funding 2014 (eligible) 1,370,712.849 (indicative - 750,000,000) September 2014 - technical evaluation of proposals with external experts under the supervision of Commission Commission award decision on 21 November 2014 for 34 actions - total of 647.3 million (C(2014)8580) Information to applicants Will organise and manage the first phase of the 2015 evaluation exercise and support the Commission in the second phase
INEA in CEF Energy Preparation of the grant agreements Includes acting as the single contact point, signature of grant agreements, communication actions 2014 Call preparation of grant agreements for selected actions Publication of press releases for signed actions, and individual project fiches and maps (via the Agency's website) Will manage the subsequent preparation and signature of the 2015 grant agreements with beneficiaries
INEA in CEF Energy Technical and financial follow-up of projects Includes day-to-day project follow-up, recoveries, audits, communication actions Monitoring of the 34 selected energy actions from 2014 Call Executing the first pre-financing payments November/December 2014: Meetings held with all beneficiaries Production of a brochure on the Projects of Common Interest (PCIs) in collaboration with Commission
INEA in CEF Energy Key feedback to the Commission Will include project portfolio reviews, reports, statistics, synergies Working to provide information from grant management on the progress of CEF funded actions - to help INEA and the Commission to monitor the PCIs Developing dialogue with the relevant stakeholders: mainly potential applicants for calls for proposals (TSOs and other project promoters)
