MASTER 1 INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC STUDIES International Economics and Management Economics & Management Faculty Faculty of Economics and Management University of Paris-Est-Créteil Master 1 (1 st year of master) Students enrolled in the master IES and selected by the direction council can follow all the lectures in Freiberg University (Germany) in the Master 1. At the end of the master 2 DEIPM these students receive a double degree from Freiberg University (Germany) and from UPEC. The master has more developed cooperation with the following Universities: Carlos III (Spain), Saint-Louis (Belgium) Torino and Sienna (Italy), FON-Belgrade (Serbia), Economic Faculty of Warsaw (Poland), Los Andes (Colombia), Yokohama (Japan), Kyunghee (S. Korea). Several students with Erasmus Mundus Alrakis 2 scholarships are also accepted in the Master. All courses of the curriculum are taught in English. No specific requirement in terms of TOEIC. English proficiency is assessed by the teachers in the course of admission interviews. No requirement in terms of French language. The curriculum includes courses of French language (DELCIFE) at different levels. Learning outcome The Master IES prepare the students to handle concepts and tools necessary for a deep understanding of international economic issues. It also provides students with an introduction to econometrics and helps them deal with large databases (microeconomic surveys and macroeconomic datasets). MASTER 2 Tissue, Cell & Gene Biotherapies Biology and Health Life Sciences School of Medicine (UPEC) Master of Science (Master 2) (2 nd year of master) - University Paris 13 - University Evry Val d Essonne (UEVE) Exchange students accepted. The main goal is to acquire the competences applicable to the field of biotherapies, including gene therapies (gene transfer, gene manipulation), cell therapies (manipulation of either stem cells or differentiated cells), immunotherapy, innovative pharmacological therapies, use of biomaterials, etc. Their implementation is based on wide ranging basic biology, and the development and transfer of biomedical research towards the realm of biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. This degree provides students a strong background in economics and students are given the opportunity to enrich their studies by doing a semester at a partner university. It requires more individual involvement than the standard curriculum in France and fewer hours of class attendance.
