In the case of the forward throwing principle, the dirt is swept up from the floor as when using a dustpan and brush and is, therefore, well-suited to cleaning up heavy dirt and waste. In the case of the overhead throwing principle, the dirt hopper is filled from above and utilised to the full, it must be emptied much less frequently. This principle is excellent for clearing up large volumes of light dirt. The main brush of all vacuum sweeper machines is in a cylindrical form. Regardless of the layout of the rows of bristles, each production series provides an optimum sweeping performance and dirt filling, low dust production and a quiet, low-vibration brush operation. A comprehensive series of tests completed by the TÜV have confirmed a saving of cleaning agent up to 50 % with improved cleaning results because the Hako-Aqua-Control system holds the cleaning solution longer between the floor surface and brush increasing the excellent cleaning performance even more. Scrubber-driers carry the water required for the cleaning task in a tank. In the case of a fixed panel tank, the recovery water and solution tanks are partitioned by a rigid panel. At the start of cleaning, only the clean water tank is filled. It is emptied during the course of the cleaning process and the recovery tank is filled with the waste water vacuumed up. In the case of a flexible panel tank, the recovery water and solution tank are partitioned by a highly resistant, flexible tank panel. When the machine is filled with solution, the tank panel bulges fully into the recovery water tank. The volume of the dirty water tank is proportionally less so that the flextank can carry up to 80 % more water to increase periods of operation effectively and economically. Hako offers various types of drive for the scrubberdriers. For cleaning indoors, the battery provides the cleanest and environmentally friendly type of drive. In the case of very large areas and multi-shift operation, liquified petroleum gas (LPG) drive is an interesting alternative because the low emissions produced also enable working in indoor areas.. Hako-AquaForce Complete routine cleaning without the need for chemicals Hako-AquaForce means cleaning using demineralised water. This technology has been used successfully in numerous areas, e. g. for cleaning glass and facades and in car washes. Hako-AquaForce achieves excellent results through the mechanical aspect of cleaning floors without the need of expensive cleaning agents because demineralised water is particularly soft and loosens particles of dirt very well. In addition, it dries without leaving any residues, streaks or limescale marks. This also reduces any resoiling because particles of dirt no longer find any adhesion opportunities. Hako-AquaForce pays dividends Simple and uncomplicated The Hako-AquaForce unit consists of an ion exchange unit with cartridges which is connected to the filling unit on the water tap. The tap water flows through the cartridges filled with special resins, whereby all the minerals (organic salts, lime etc.) are removed. The filling time itself is not lengthened by this process. When the resins have become saturated after a certain time, they can be recycled by means of a non-polluting Page 42 S c ru b b e r- dri e rs procedure a practically unrestricted number of times. The service life of the resins depends on the respective level of hardness of the water, whereby the size of the cartridge can be individually adapted to your needs. This means that, for example, a mixed bed resin unit of 45 kg suffices for a flow rate of up to 6,200 litres with a water hardness of 10 ºd GSG! Hako-AquaForce ensures excellent results of cleaning. Time-consuming follow-up work is unnecessary and, as a result of the reduced resoiling, occasional cleaning routines can be dispensed with completely. Automatic dosing and filling systems for scrubber-driers Automatic dosage Automatic filling Onboard dosing system FastFill The automatic, wall-mounted dosing system works according to the Venturi principle: On opening the water tap, the water is added to the cleaning agent at low pressure via a separate hose. The quantity is defined by means of a measuring pin. The system is equipped with non-return valve, complying with DVGW (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water) so that contaminated water cannot flow back into the water supply. To enable automatic filling, the hose is fixed to the scrubbing-vacuuming vendor by means of a plug-in coupling. When the clean water tank is completely filled, a float switch stops the water supply. The operator can complete other work during this time and need not remain by the machine this supports a more efficient, economic deployment of personnel. The system consists of a regulated pump. The addition of the cleaning agent occurs subject to the water supply. The concentration can be adjusted continuously and always remains constant. Over and underdosing are effectively prevented as a result, even when the operator the increases or reduces the water supply. The system can also be used in machines without a water pump. The FastFill filling system is particularly suited for use involving high water consumption or little time for the filling process. It consists of a 150 or 300 litre tank and is easy to handle.
