OVERVIEW There is seldom a single cause for an accident or an incident. The source of each accident and the subsequent analysis should build a picture of events and how to avoid accidents and incidents in the future. This course will cover the OSHA accident & incident process. The instructor will provide an analysis of fall fatalities within upstream oil and gas. Attendees will develop the knowledge and skills to anticipate, recognize, evaluate and control hazards common to the on-shore oil and gas exploration and production industry. Della Casa has significant courtroom experience. She has championed cases from voir dire to arguing before court of appeals. With an emphasis on construction litigation and personal injury defense, Marcella has obtained numerous total defense verdicts as the first chair trial lawyer in cases where the amount sought was in excess of $1 Million. Her expertise extends to all areas of construction litigation, focusing on the defense of custom builders, remodelers, and subcontractors. Marcella s undergraduate and graduate education was devoted to the fields of biology and chemistry. Her success in construction defense litigation is attributed in large part to her dedication to developing an expertise in every aspect of civil, structural and geotechnical engineering; fire and explosion investigation as well as construction science.
