Today 2016 is my first day at Chingford Foundation School. I will spend at least the next 5 and possibly the next 7 years here, which means I will be here in the Year 2023! I know that if I always do my best, I will succeed and that the staff here will help me to have a happy and successful time. This is my Survival Handbook which is going to help me through the next few weeks!! We are sure that once you settle in you will find Chingford Foundation School an exciting place to be, with lots to learn and many activities to become involved in. TELLING THE FOLKS BACK HOME Probably you re telling mum or dad or the adults you live with all about your new school. Try to remember the many things you ve learned about the school and what goes on in it. Spend about 10 minutes writing down a list of things to remind you what to say at home about your start at your new school. 16
