Senior Marketing Manager - UK Full-time, Fixed term, Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou Navitas is a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programs, English language training and settlement services, creative media education, workforce education and student recruitment. Introduction to the role This role forms an integral part of the Navitas (China) Group Marketing team and will be based within Mainland China. The position reports to the Country Manager China and will work closely across global Navitas divisions within ANZ, UK, North America and Singapore. The overall objective of the position is to take a leadership role in market development, market diversification and growth within Mainland China. Strong analytical and communication skills are required for this role, as is experience in managing budgets and sales forecasts. Key Result Areas: Sales i. Drive Marketing Managers in meeting sales targets for individual colleges and overall targets for UK ii. Lead and coordinate Navitas UK participation in international market development activities including travel and promotion of the company s products and services to agents, sponsorship bodies and potential students / candidates iii. Assist the Country Manager China to prepare UK destination market and business unit specific sales forecasts through the analysis of market trends iv. Compile sales figures relating to market volume and share of market and manage the UK sales function across China v. Work with line reports to deliver high calibre destination market specific sales training to the agent and partner institution network, incorporating the use of PPP agent incentives vi. Consistently engage with Business Unit based colleagues to develop unique sales and marketing strategies designed to grow sales and market share in China vii. Support pipeline management and engagement for Institutional Partner Schools, University Pathways and their in-country partners viii. Assist with providing agent feedback and requests on commission issues to Business Unit employees Marketing ix. Collaborate with the Country Manager China and Regional Account Managers to develop an appropriate Navitas China Strategic Marketing and Sales Plans for the UK markets and manage implementation within new and existing regions x. Provide monthly reports on all aspects of UK marketing and sales activity, including student recruitment targets, promotional activities, expenditure, competitor activity, market trends and issues xi. Develop marketing and sales objectives and strategies for a group of allocated products and for the launch of new or changed products xii. Ensure that products and marketing comply with ethical and legal standards xiii. Promote the company, actions and products by undertaking necessary and appropriate liaison with various external stakeholders including both government and non-government agencies (AEI, AustCham, DIBP etc) xiv. Collaborate with the Country Manager China on the preparation and release of publicity in accordance with established policies and procedures and maintain excellent relations with press, radio, television, national magazines and other media xv. Liaise with Group emarketing on developing and implementing a market leading Navitas UK online presence in China Financial

Strong written and oral capability in Mandarin & English language ii. Possession of a tertiary degree level qualification and/or 2-5 years of marketing experience iii. Demonstrate high level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills inclusive of presentation skills iv. Demonstrated and proven ability as a team player v. Demonstrated flexible attitude to work (e.g. in hours and content), including a willingness to work weekends and evenings in support of recruitment activities both locally and internationally vi. Demonstrated and proven ability to initiate and implement marketing strategies and sales tactics which have made a significant contribution to sustainable business growth vii. Demonstrated innovative thinking and proactive work habits inclusive of an eye for detail and for new recruitment initiatives viii. Demonstrated and proven experience of working effectively within a matrix structure, with focus on collaborating with and influencing various stakeholders ix.
