1 Introduction 4 1 Introduction The GMC Inspire Cloud Services is a web based portal that brings intuitive and easy to use tools accessible anytime, anywhere in the world. Experience the robust GMC online tools with no initial outlay. The Inspire Cloud Services portal is accessible from https://inspirecloud.net Available Tools Explore the functionality of the following GMC Inspire Cloud Services tools: Format Conversion Messenger
2 Registration 5 2 Registration Create your company account almost instantly. All you need to do is to: 1. Go to https://inspirecloud.net. 2. Fill in a simple form. 3. Receive the activation email and click on the Activate Account button. 4. Congratulations, your account has been created and activated. After you create a company account, its url address will be: https://companyname.inspirecloud.net
3 Homepage 6 3 Homepage On the Homepage, you can not only select from the available tools but also manage your account easily: Credit & Subscriptions Displays basic information about the volume of services available for your company. Should you require credit or subscription for additional services, then click on the pane and leave your contact details for the GMC representative to contact you. Company Account Displays information about carried out transactions and so you will always know about all the transactions in detail. User Administration Displays information about your account including contact details. In addition, you can invite other people to join the GMC Inspire Cloud Portal.
4 Format Conversion 7 4 Format Conversion Convert your files into a number of formats in a split of a second. Other advantages: No installation required. Automatically convert between the supported formats. View the file on-line using the integrated viewer. Download the converted file. The supported formats include: PDF AFP PostScript ( /A /VT /X ) Inspire Designer Native (TNO) To convert a document: 1. Click on the Upload File button and select a file for conversion. 2. Click on the Convert icon which opens the Convert dialog. 3. Specify file conversion details and click on the Convert button. 4. Download your converted file. 5 Messenger 8 5 Messenger Engage your customers with brand new electronic campaigns full of useful features. Other advantages: Create personalized content. Easily track emails or SMS. Receive delivery information. To create a new campaign: 1. Design your campaign in Inspire Designer: Design the campaign in the Layout module. Connect data using a data input module.
5 Messenger 9 Connect the Email and SMS Data module after the Layout module and set it for sending emails. Connect an output module. 2. Choose Inspire Messenger engine for production and edit its settings: For more details, please read the corresponding sections of Inspire Designer User Guide. 3. Click on the Campaign Start icon to run your campaign. 4. Track the results of your campaign: In addition, a report containing detailed information about the progress and results of your campaign can be downloaded by clicking on the Report download icon. The free use of our software is limited to 5000 emails and 100 SMS messages for your campaign. 6 Tips and Tricks 10 6 Tips and Tricks 6.1 Tips regarding spam filters When creating a campaign keep in mind the following tips in order to avoid your campaign being regarded as spam: Text/ image balance Sending an email that contains lots of images is the most common cause of campaigns going to spam. This can be a problem in particular if your campaign is one big image containing hardly any text at all. You should aim for a good balance of the two. Keywords Certain words or phrases can often earn your campaign spam points. There are plenty of obvious ones such as Earn extra cash or 100% free, but also terms like opportunity or click here can cause problems even when used legitimately. Try altering the language used in your email. Punctuation Too many exclamation marks will definitely earn you some spam points and lots of quote marks can also be problematic. Experiment with the punctuation present in your campaign. Subject line A long subject line can sometimes earn you spam points. The language and punctuation issues are very relevant here, so keep your subject lines free of problematic keywords and exclamation marks to ensure it does not get marked as spam. Text formatting Using bold or brightly coloured text can earn your campaign some spam points. Making your text very big or typing all in capitals is also not recommended. Links It is possible that having a large number of links in your campaign can get the attention of spam filters. If you do have a lot of links, you will need to decide if they are all necessary.
