Quarantine Same quarantine zone 1 for all individual competitions, transport to pre-start area. made it easy for everyone simplify the preparations for coaches and competitors 2/4/2014 9
Mapping 1 started 2008 with basic material included Euromeeting 2011, WCUP 2012 +KOW 2011 2013 training maps (paper, ocad) WOC maps were ready one year before the games last chances (small cuttings, green and yellow, fences to the sprint) in the end of may 2013 printing started 13.6 controlled by EA team, course controllers, course planners co operation with IOF map comission 2/4/2014 10
Mapping -> what to check everyone must have same OCAD versions! difficult areas/special features to map > do a small part of map and then check it together with course planners and course controllers 1: 15 000 map > not 1:10 000 in a smaller scale! maps must be readable when running check the maps with paper version!
