If you can t figure out your purpose, figure out your passion. For passion will lead you right in to your purpose Bishop T.D. Jakes WEEK NINE : LIVING YOUR PURPOSE Bringing purpose to your life is a practice of living from your heart and being your truth. Purpose is not a doing thing, although many of us think of it that way. We think about what we need to do to find purpose. We think of it as a career or a calling that we must follow. Yes, your purpose can and most likely will flow in to your career, but your purpose is really about who you are being. Yes, it can encompass doing, but it starts with being. It starts with discovering who you are. It is simply about being the person you would love to be. Discovering your purpose is about being willing to be honest with yourself and truly connect with what you would love to do, be or experience. I believe that on some level you already know your purpose. It just a matter of allowing yourself to listen. Do not think about the form it will come in, but more so the energy or essence of it. If you felt that you were living your purpose How would it feel? Who would you be? What qualities would you be expressing? Your purpose is whatever you love to do. Whatever brings you joy. Whatever you feel pulled and moved to do with your life. It does not have to be one set thing, and it can take many shapes or forms. But simply living your purpose is living what you love. 1
