INTELI TOUCH DUAL W-32 INSTALLATION CAUTION! Ensure power is turned OFF at the breaker or fuse panel before starting installation. 1. Determine which wire is connected to the common terminal of the 3-way switch. (The terminal will be marked on switch). 2. Remove the wire from the common terminal of the 3-way switch. Connect this wire to the remaining black/white striped wire on the W-32 control. Secure this splice with a wire nut. 3. Remove the two remaining wires from the 3-way switch. Connect one of these wires to a black wire on the W-32 control. Secure the splice with a wire nut. The remaining wire is to be connected to the other black wire on the W-32. Secure the splice with a wire nut. 4. Install the W-32 in the wall box with the two long screws provided. 5. Install the wall plate with the two short color-matched screws provided. 6. Installation of the second W-32 control is identical. Repeat steps 1 through 6. 38

CHECK YOUR WORK: NOTE: If your wall control operation is reversed, i.e., fan switch controls lights and light switch controls fan, simply swap the two W-32 black/ white stripe wires. Locate the BLUE wire that is wire nutted to BLACK WIRE WITH THE WHITE STRIPE as shown, remove the wire nut. Now locate the BLACK HOT WIRE that is attached to the other BLACK WIRE WITH THE WHITE STRIPE wire, also remove the wire nut. Switch the wire as shown and wire nut them together. Inteli-Touch Controls INTELI TOUCH W-32 INSTALLATION The Inteli-Touch control makes possible the remote control of all ceiling fan and light functions from one or two convenient wall locations. At the heart of the Inteli-Touch control is a microprocessor located within the fan housing. This unit decodes and stores the commands sent from the wall controller (W-32 and W-33). The wall control takes the place of the conventional wall switch and eliminates pull chains, switches and knobs from the fan body. W-11 & W-12 Controls (Original I T Fans) 1983-1992 W-32 & W-33 Controls 1992 - Current The W-11/W-12 were the original controls for the Inteli Touch line. The W-11 allowed single wall control of one fan, while the W-12 permitted two controls to operate one fan. Reverse is accomplished by pressing the FAN and LIGHT buttons simultaneously. Note the W-11 and W- 12 SHOULD NOT be used to operate the newer Inteli-Touch Fans. The W-32 and W-33 sends the same commands as the original controllers, but was modified to provide a single button for Reverse, and a recessed Power button to avoid accidentally turn off the power to the fan. Both the W-32 and W-32 can be used as a wall control for the Inteli-Touch II Fans. 39

INTELI TOUCH SINGLE W-32 Installation CAUTION! Ensure power is turned OFF at the breaker or fuse panel before starting installation. W-32 is used to describe either White or Ivory finish. 1. Remove the screws and switch plate from the existing switch box. 2. Remove the screws holding the switch in the switch box. 3. Pull the existing switch from the switch box to expose the wire connections. 4. Remove the two wires from the switch. 5. Connect the two wires just removed from the switch to the W-32 wall control black wire and black/white stripe wire. Secure these connections with wire nuts. 6. Install the W-32 in the wall box with the two long screws provided. 7. Install the wall plate with the two color matched screws. NOTE: If your wall control operation is reversed, i.e., fan switch controls lights and light switch controls fan, simply swap the two W-32 black/white stripe wires. WARNING! Do not use more than one fan per wall control. This will cause operation failure and cause damage to the wall control and fan. No other light fixtures or electrical appliance may be connected on the circuit controlled by the W-32 wall control. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: When installing more than one fan in a room, each fan MUST have its own separate wall control as shown. 48
