Login and Password: The default Username is : Admin The default Password is : Password New Username and Passwords can be setup by clicking the Click on the icon and complete the information required. button

User Properties: New system operators or administrators can be added with unique Username and Password options. Please note that User Type status is either Operator or Administrator, if the status is Administrator then no user restrictions will be enforced however if the status is Operator the Permissions have to be assigned.

User Properties: (Permissions) Use your mouse to select or deselect the functions that the system Operator may or may not perform on the Sagem Integrator.

Device Management: Click on the icon to add a new Sagem device Give the reader a description that you will later recognise Assign the IP Address of each reader Select Reader type MA100, MA200, MA220 or MA300 model Administrator Mode Enabled will authorised enrollments to enter administrator mode on the MA Device without entering a pin number.. Time Zones allow authorised users to clock In or Out between allocated times ( In Clocking from 07h00-08h00 or Out clockings from 16h00 17h00 ) clockings outside of these time will be denied. Auto Clocking ( Logs ) upload at specified time intervals Auto Incremental Download ( Will download new enrolments ) at specified time intervals. Device location is used for Location reporting in Access Control mode Select the modes required as shown on screen

Device Properties (Database) Database options are fixed and can not be changed Click on the menu item Tools Configuration Takeon and choose the default fingers that will be used.

Device Properties (User Interface) Select the Language option require ( English Default ) Please speak to your distributor or dealer about a User Defined language, i.e. Sotho, Zulu etc.

Device Properties (Relay) A Relay is used to activate a Magnetic, Striker lock or turnstile solenoid for Access Control. Relay s can be activated with a definable release time s as shown above.

Device Properties (Time & Attendance) Time and Attendance mode can be activated if required, this mode allows the system user to select an IN or OUT clocking status on the reader and clock accordingly. Please note that a Clock IN and a Clock OUT is required for TIME MANAGER SQL if you require AUTO SHIFT DETECTION.

Device Properties (Wiegand) The Wiegand properties can be set to work with full blown access control systems like IMPRO, the Sagem MA is connected to a PT (Portal Terminal) via the wiegand port. Please note that the wiegand settings must conform to the Impro settings, normally the site code is set to 0 and the Wiegand output is Enabled.

Device Properties (Access Control) Access Control Groups can be allocated to each device this will be explained in more detail in the Group Management Section

Time Zone Management: Click on the icon to add a new Time Zone Time Zone s are created to define Entry and Exit times for employee s, Normally two time zones are created namely: Managers 24hours Access and Staff 07h00-17h00 Time Zone s are used to manage and restrict un-authorised entry and exit times. Use your mouse to select your active or inactive time blocks.

Company Management: Use the company management option to input your permanent or temporary staff members. Click on the icon to add a new Company

Staff Members Management Part 1/4 (General) Click on the icon to add a new Staff Member Complete the Staff Member Properties as needed, Please note that the User ID field is system generated and can be changed accordingly. All required system fields are marked in RED Company information can only be assigned if captured as noted in the previous section of this manual. Enable Administrator mode to only those users which have a Supervisory position. Employee information can automatically be exported to Time Manager SQL (Time and Attendance software) if checked! Photographs can be assigned via web cam or imported via browse box

Staff Members Management Part 2/4 (Biometric) Click on the Assign Template button 1 st finger print template. to assign employees The assign template manager will select either the MA200 reader for enrollment or the MorphoSmart MSO1300 or MSO300 enrollment station. Please note that the MorphoSmart MSO100 enrollment station is NOT supported by this software. A Time Zone can be linked to employees which will limit Entry and Exit times on the MA200 reader. Reader communication will be established with the selected interface and the Staff Members first finger print template will be captured.

Please complete the same procedure for the 2 nd template. Once the template has been captured, it is stored in the software s database and can be downloaded at any stage. Please also remember that the MA200 reader has a capacity of 800 Users with two templates assigned to each user. Should a memory upgrade be required then the unit can be upgraded to the MA300 with has a capacity of 48 000 users.

Staff Members Management Part 3/4 (Notes) The notes section is basically self explanatory and is really only used to save personal information pertaining to these Staff Members.

Staff Members Management Part 4/4 (Groups) Groups are allocated to employees which will specify which readers an employee may clock at. Single or multiple readers may be allocated to a group, Please make sure that you clearly define reader groups and make sure that the correct readers are included with this group selection. Please refer to Group Properties section.

Group Properties: Click on the icon to add a new Group Properties Group Properties are used to define the various groups of Staff Members which belong to a specific Access Group and Time Zone. By creating these groups the operator can download information to the Sagem readers in bulk sectors or blocks.

Time and Attendance Export: The Sagem Integrator allows the clockings or Log files to be exported into the Time Manager SQL (Time Management) software package. Keep the Export only new data checked and export on the default settings Should it ever be necessary be re-export a date range of clockings then remove the tick in the Export only new data option and select the dates required.

Group Properties: (Members) Employee s can be allocated to these groups simply by clicking on the < arrow to add individuals or by clicking the << arrow to select all Please note that this option will also be effective in the Staff Members Management screen.

Sagem Integrator Comms Manager : The Sagem Integrator s Comms Manager runs as a minimized service in the background and performs the following functions. Refresh List Connect or Disconnect to devices Download Configuration Do a Full Download Do an Incremental Download Uploading of Log files Get MA Base state

Sagem Integrator Server (Multi User Clients) The Sagem Integrator is fully networked and allows multiple users to connect using the User Name and Password function. The Server Client tab will show which users are currently logged into the Sagem Integrator.

Sagem Intergrator Server ( On-line Information / Logs Screen ) The Sagem Intergrator Server will communicate with the Sagem readers every 90 seconds. The Sagem Intergrator Server will further download the logs automatically based on the parameter set. The time will be set automatically every 45 minutes The log screen serves as a visual display of all communications and can be cleared on demand by pressing the key.

Troubleshooting: Use a 3 Amp regulated power supply with battery backup Make sure your wiring conforms to Ethernet Standard Check for network link on PC or Network Switch / Hub Make sure that your Ethernet cable is not running near any 220V/AC power cables as you may have inductance or interference on the line.
