Commodores Ball I hope everyone had fun this year at the big event It s really not that difficult to put on the event All that you really have to do is: decide on a venue, find a band, buy a bunch of flags (big flags and little flags), learn how to spell epilates, purchase epilates, and then buy more epilates when you find out the epilates you bought are the wrong size, buy a secretary pin, decide on a menu (don t forget the rolls), send the hotel your credit card, sign the band contract, buy food, reserve a room, pay for the band, think of a unique gifts for everyone, order beach towels, make certain the logo is the right size and color, collect money, give out the tickets, and collapse When you wake up the next morning you will find out if everything worked out I can t thank enough all of the folks that helped make the event a success Laurie and I are looking forward to an early spring, and a warm summer It cannot get here soon enough! From the Fleet Captain Winter has been brutal! Record snowfalls and below normal temperatures have surely put a frown on my face The harbor is frozen with a spooky grim emptiness At night, the boat ghosts dance from yacht to yacht Because they can Who's going to stop them?! Old man winter?! However, if you need a good smile, check out the 2014 Schedule of Events New events and popular favorites are waiting for you to indulge in and create an unforgettable adventure for the summer of '14 Less than 60 days from now, it will all bust loose March Madness of dewinterizing, sipping martinis with great friends and betting on some horse you were talked into doing! Game on! Some people say time is money I believe its far more precious than that Time alone, time with friends, time with those you love No matter who you choose to spend it with, there is no better place than aboard a boat Fleet Captain Bob Ware FLEET CAPTAIN Bob Ware Sky Galley Restaurant & Bar Lunken Airport Terminal 262 Wilmer Ave 513-871-7400 "Let us take you to new heights Kirby s Restaurant & Bar 378 Bridge St, Loveland, OH 513-239-8890
