FLOWAY is a new generation of dual-flow air handling units that are specially designed for the air conditioning requirements of new and renovated buildings. FLOWAY is powerful, energy efficient and fully complies with the French thermal regulation that will come into force in 2012. FLOWAY is available in three models and 16 sizes, each with independent intelligent control for Plug and Play operation. Both the fan motor assembly and built-in control give you total control over air flows, thereby enabling you to manage constant flows of air. > Naturally MORE EFFICIENT > Naturally MORE ATTRACTIVE FLOWAY has been designed to deliver unsurpassable comfort. Its compact design (one measurement less than 800 mm) makes it easy to install and handle. FLOWAY features double-skin panels with 50 mm insulation and quiet fans to ensure high acoustic performance. What's more, it features TCP/IP connectivity that facilitates maintenance: CIAT Service can troubleshoot potential problems from a distance and thereby determine the best solutions for on-site servicing. HIGH ENERGY-EFFICIENCY HEAT RECOVERY UNIT Depending on its arrangement, two high-efficiency heat recovery FLOWAY systems are available: 1) "COUNTER FLOW" plate heat exchanger with bypass (vertical and ceiling-mounted models) 2) Variable speed rotary heat exchanger (classic model) The performance and technology of both systems are sized for each nominal air flow rate with a pressure drop of under 150 Pa per air flow and an efficiency of over 80% to save on energy. In conjunction with the heat recovery units, FLOWAY features free cooling functions that allow you to better manage the thermal performance of your building. Both methods result in smaller ventilation systems because no additional equipment is needed to condition indoor air.
> FLOWAY CONTROL UNIT The FLOWAY control is fitted as standard on all FLOWAY dual-flow air handling units. This independent intelligent control enables full management of each AHU as well as control of each option and accessory. It is delivered pre-wired and its hand-held micro-terminal features a display for managing and reading all its parameters. The control unit is installed inside each AHU, thereby ensuring full compatibility between the electronic and mechanical components. Standard control functions: > TEMPERATURE CONTROL: supply in relation to return, supply, return or ambient, compensation based on outdoor temperature. > FLOW/PRESSURE CONTROL: constant flow rate and pressure, independent fans, flow adjusted to controlled temperature, constant flow or pressure but interrelated by the K ratio (0.5-1). > CONTROL OF FREE COOLING. > HEAT RECOVERY UNIT (rotary or plate) defrosted based on the outdoor temperature and in relation to the pressure drop. DIRECT READING OF CLOGGING OF THE TWO FILTERS and the presence of air flows. OPTIONS: Energy consumption meter and VOC sensor UNIT RUNNING TIMES: daily, weekly, yearly, hourly operation. FAULT ALARMS: for all components and sensors. MODBUS: communication > Options: LON, KNX, TCP/IP. MAINTENANCE: history, reading of operating states and values. Easy remote maintenance via TCP/IP.
