Introduction Resicert is offering an opportunity to become a Resicert Licensee to provide Resicert Property Inspections. This is an opportunity to build a business that can provide excellent income, delivers a valuable service, is in a growth market, whilst giving you great control over your time and supports a balanced lifestyle. To learn more about the property inspection services that we offer please visit our main client website: www.resicert.com. From here you can view the websites for WA and Victoria, where we are now carrying out inspections with other States to follow. On our website you see what a potential customer sees and the information which they use to book an inspection with Resicert. One of our key points of difference is the high level of customer service which we provide. This is evident in the client testimonials which can be seen on our website. The aim of this overview is to provide you with initial preliminary information so that you can determine as to whether you would like to pursue this opportunity further. Thanks for your inspection. I was thrilled with the speed of the report and most importantly the report itself. We have had many pre-purchase reports done. However this was by far the easiest to read and highlighted the issues to be rectified in a great way. Once again, thanks for your service we will definitely use Resicert again. - Sam About Resicert Resicert was founded in May 2009 by Paul and Robyn Antonelli. Paul and Robyn both strongly believe in sustainability in all facets of life, and so they invested considerable time and resources into creating a business model that is sustainable and would offer a flexible lifestyle, as well as strong profits. Paul's background as a Chartered Professional Engineer, with considerable experience and expertise in business and systems provided him with the perfect foundation to start a property inspection business. It also means he is able to offer professional support and advice to other inspectors which help maintain the high standards of service and expertise customers have come to expect from Resicert. The Resicert inspection reporting system is one of the most sophisticated and efficient in the industry enabling the business to consistently deliver on its promise of "Brilliant inspections, best reports, fast!". Paul s business model and systems enable inspectors to concentrate on the delivering quality inspections rather than being hindered by cumbersome reporting methods typically used by other inspection businesses. 4

Jason Paizes s Story Licensee Testimonial I initially started investigating franchise opportunities around 18 months ago, having recently arrived from the UK with a Civil Engineering background as well as software development work experience. Wanting to break free from programming, and with a young family, I was looking for a sustainable business that would allow me the flexibility to manage my own time. I also wanted to make use of my existing skill set and to interact with people, whilst retaining the level of income that I was used to in the IT industry. My criterion for selection was fairly strict and included that the opportunity be: in a growth industry, multi-faceted, flexible, rewarding, and, above all, fun. I also wanted the opportunity to learn more about business and marketing. After investigating over 20 different franchise opportunities I came across Resicert on the web. I immediately noticed that Resicert was well represented across multiple keywords through several well designed websites. This indicated to me that the marketing machine behind the company was well thought out. After having personal experience with businesses struggling due to lack of marketing exposure, this struck a chord with me. Digging a bit further I realised that the building inspection industry was on the brink of massive expansion, particularly if the business targeted a range of different areas such as building inspections, sustainability assessments, mandatory disclosure, retrospective approvals, etc... This appeared to fulfill my requirement for the business to be multi-faceted and in a growth industry. I called Paul Antonelli and we had a series of meetings, during which I realised that Paul had a lot to teach in business and marketing. With a product that stands head and shoulders above the competition and website automation that reduces bad debt to zero, Paul had quite clearly set Resicert up to be a premier building inspection company and was completely committed to marketing the business effectively and efficiently. From there, I did some fairly extensive due diligence, including putting together a series of financial models to ascertain the viability of the business, return on investment numbers and cash flow forecasts. One of the key aspects of the business that attracted me was the fact that the company has complete transparency in its marketing efforts; the licensees are trained in marketing principles and are free to market on their own, however, they still enjoy the benefits of a fully streamlined marketing machine which continuously feeds business their way. After several more meetings with Paul, I made the decision to join the company and became the first Resicert licensee. Paul guided me through setting up my own company structure and starting my business. After the initial training period was complete I started actively working as a licensed property inspector and have completed over 450 inspections in my first year. The experience has been all that I had hoped it would be. I have learnt about business and marketing and, contrary to a traditional business startup, have still had time to enjoy my family. With new products being added to the list of inspections that we carry out, I look forward to many more lucrative years as a Resicert Property Inspector. - Jason Paizes, July 2011 8
