The ASBO has been ASBO d - Wolf Racing Focus ST WR300/WR330 Wolf-Concept UK is pleased to announce the UK launch of the Wolf Racing Focus WR300 & WR330 performance upgrades. Wolf Concept Germany have been an official partner with Ford Germany for many years following there involvement in running Fords racing programme. The package upgrades have been developed and extensively tested by WolfConcept Germany over the last 14 months. The kit carries full TUV approval and to date has only been available through selected Ford Germany dealers. The package is now available in the UK from Wolf UK (Profile Automotive Ltd) and selected Ford dealers. Technical Information Engine - The base conversion includes a 300PS/386nm engine upgrade includes a modified manifold, bigger turbo & wastegate & upgraded engine management & ESP software, The use of a larger turbo has allowed the German engineers to increase boost by 50% to1.3bar with out increasing the inlet temperatures (the car currently uses the standard intercooler) Despite the use of the larger turbo lag is minimal. The engine management/esp system has been extensively modified to ensure that the ST s excellent handling and traction have not been compromised by the 300PS 18/01/2007 page 2
conversion. The system effectively reduces the level of power & torque in each of the lower gears and it is not until 4th gear is the full power & torque made available. The 300PS requires the use of 98 octane fuel in order to achieve its 300PS. Also available December 2006 is the WR330 upgrade. Power is increased to 326bhp & 511Nm torque at 3200rpm. The additional componats include a complete 3 stainless steel exhaust system, Induction kit, intercooler and software update. Exhaust The UK demonstrator also has installed a glorious sounding stainless steel performance 4 cat back exhaust system manufactured by leading supplier Magnex who also manufacture exhaust systems for Aston Martin & Jaguar to name a few. Suspension & Wheels The suspension has been uprated & lowered approximately 15mm - The kit has been specifically developed for the UK market and utilises Austrian specification springs rather than the lower German specified kits. This set up suits the rather bumper UK roads whilst not effecting the ST s excellent ride properties. The Wolf 19 x 8 Alloys have Toyo 235/35 19 TR1 s installed Brakes For the more serious owner who intends to use the car for track days etc we offer a 362mm AP Racing Brake & Disc upgrade. Body Styling & Graphics Wolf-Concept offers a mid rear spoiler designed to compliment the original ST spoiler and distinctive C-Pillar trims. The Wolf-Racing over roof stripes is optional.
