We develop your unique product from your individual specifications, create moulds in our mould-making workshop, support you with marketing and the design and printing of packaging, and we can even store it for you if required. We also ensure that your product is delivered safely from our facilities in Lucerne to the address of your choice, and guarantee compliance with cold-chain procedures.

We process only high-quality couverture chocolate from Swiss producers. Just as important as the processing of only first-class raw materials are of course the production processes themselves. Our company is thus equipped in accordance with the latest developments in modern food technology research. Products for the trade As well as meeting specific customer requirements, Chocolat Schönenberger also produces high-quality products for use in large-scale industrial bakeries and the confectionery industry. Based on the finest recipes, which are made to order for specific customers, we produce, among others, the following products: The original filling for the traditional Lucerne Birnenweggen pastries Hazelnut fillings divarious fondants Ganaches Many products are also available in organic quality.

Production and processing certification Bio Organic, UTZ and Fairtrade what they represent The production facilities at Chocolat Schönenberger and our processing procedures are subject to regular checks carried out by the responsible authorities. Thanks to our comprehensive internal quality assurance controls, we hold the relevant certificates for many aspects of chocolate processing: UTZ label for the sustainable farming of cocoa in accordance with UTZ Certified Fair-trade certification in accordance with FLO-CERT/the Fairtrade standard Bio labels for organic products in accordance with Swiss and EU organic farming statutes (The above-mentioned labels are checked regularly by Bio Inspecta.) Food-safety management system in accordance with FSSC 22000:2011 Manufacturing of medicinal chocolate in accordance with Swissmedic guidelines Bio is a registered quality label. For products bearing the Bio label in accordance with Swiss or EU statutes, it is guaranteed that: Natural cycles and processes have been taken into consideration in their production Production did not involve the use of synthetic chemical agents or genetic engineering Ionising radiation has not been used in their production Fairtrade is an alternative trade model that aims to stabilise and improve the living standards of smallscale farmers and employees in developing countries.
