End-to End OTT integration: It s engineered into our genes Benchmark Broadcast Systems are pleased to announce that we now offer complete solutions and systems integration for Over-The-Top (OTT) content delivery

Benchmark Broadcast Systems has extensive and intensive experience in providing and integrating solutions for Over-The-Top (OTT) content delivery. With a history tied to an early pioneer and provider of on-demand Video Asset Management solutions, we have literally had OTT solutions engineered into our DNA. We are now pleased to announce the introduction of an end-to-end OTT and multiscreen solution into our already extensive systems integration portfolio. The core solution, which we then customise and integrate to your specific requirements, comes from Maxicaster, a Finnish company with its origins as a Service Provider. The timeframe from order to completion is typically just a matter of weeks. MAXICASTER s background as a Service Provider is a key factor in the efficacy of the Maxicaster solution, which has been designed to help navigate and avoid some of the pitfalls typically associated with OTT video. The solution is based on a hybrid operational model which leverages the agility and flexibility of a cloud-based back-end with the security and streaming quality associated with local infrastructure. The user experience is then optimised through advanced, intuitive reference clients which have been developed for all major device types and Operating Systems. Maxicaster Online IPTV and Multiscreen Solution Maxicaster is a fully managed Online IPTV and Multiscreen solution which couples a centrally hosted and managed back-end with locally deployed Live and VoD/nDVR servers to ensure a premium Quality of Experience. The local servers incorporate full Private CDN functionality which further optimises the caching and streaming of content across sites. This hybrid approach provides both a rapid time to market and an optimized operational model without compromising on security, Quality of Service (QoS) or ownership of the TV service. The result for our customers is a complete, advanced OTT solution which can be commercialised in weeks where the technical and operational requirements are handled by Benchmark. This frees you to focus on promoting the service and growing your subscriber base, with the knowledge that the other aspects are under control.
