How to link clients to your Sage One Accountant Edition Managing your clients in Sage One You can use your Sage One Accountant Edition to invite clients to use Sage One so you can view and manage their data remotely. You can also send invites to existing Sage One clients in order to log onto their data. It s really simple to invite a client. When you sign into Sage One Accountant Edition, the first thing you ll see is your Client List (which is also accessed from wherever you are by clicking the Home icon). 1. Click Invite Client. 2. Enter your client s contact information, including email address and phone number. 3. Review the option to have Sage contact your client to help with setup. Uncheck this box if you prefer that Sage not contact your client. Leave it checked if you would like Sage to contact your client. 4. Select whether to invite your client to Try or Buy Sage One. If you select the Try option, your client will receive a 15-day free trial of Sage One. If you select Buy, your client will be asked to set up a subscription during sign up. 5. Choose an invitation format. You can either have Sage One send the invitation directly to your client, or you can send the invitation to your inbox and forward it to your client so that it comes from you. 6. Click Next to continue to the next screen. 7. Choose a service (Sage One Accounting Standard or Sage One Invoicing) to subscribe your client to by clicking the service name in the list and then click Subscribe. Click Next. 8. Check that the information is correct, then click Finish. If you elected to have Sage One send the invitation directly to your client, your client will receive this email at the address you entered. If you elected to have the email sent to your inbox so you could then forward it directly to your client, you will need to access your inbox and forward the invitation to your client. Once your client has activated Sage One, you ll see your client in your active clients list where you can then access your client s financials and data.
